The toilet seat moved around a lot. The disc on top of the hot water tap in the hand basin was not secured and kept falling into the sink. Basic maintenance needed.

The room was really clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Restaurant within premises is great. The Thai food was excellent. Staff very friendly. Central in the town.

Fire notices not displayed on wall but on floor in wardrobe (Room 3) which should be addressed. Large room and met all needs during two day stay.

Location was central to Montrose and handy for the train station

Montrose hasn't much in the Town especially on a Monday, but we did end up in an Indian restaurant for dinner which was superb..

The Juniper Rooms are superb for a stopover if you are touring the East Side of Scotland, The Room was very clean, and spacious, tea coffee making facilities available, and just perfect for what we required touring round Scotland. Central to Montrose Town Centre, so a pub and a couple of restaurants are limited to this small town.... Really helpful receptionist checked us in and even offered to take our luggage up to the room...

Window in our room had hinge problems. Bird poop on windows. Crazy seagulls squawking at all hours. The stone walkway and the front door area of hotel could use some scrubbing and maybe a few flowers or color to make the entrance feel more welcoming.

We were happy you had parking. The flowers in the parking lot were nice. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

A bit like some of the others I did find it a bit noisy but it calmed down after 11 and I got a good nights sleep

It was a little bit noisy as it is so close to the high street but that is to be expected and it didn’t keep us awake but if you were a light sleeper it might. The shower was quite small and very temperamental. The water pressure was low and the temperature was difficult to get right. I burnt my hand it was so hot in one instant but the next would be freezing. We did eventually get it right and then didn’t touch the temperature dial again. As you’re so high up the windows are unable to be opened. It was quite hot during our stay and a fan would have been useful as our room was quite cosy. However we didn’t ask for one so maybe if we had it would have been provided.

The location was perfect for what we needed, very central right on the high street. It was a little tricky to find the car park at first but once we got round to the right street there were very clear signs on where to go. My partner made use of the kettle and coffee making facilities and enjoyed his cup of coffee. When asked we were given an ironing board and iron which was fantastic. The staff were very friendly.

Room was a bit cold in the evening at first but it was Winter and it did warm up eventually with radiators on full.

Basic rooms but clean. Host was very friendly and gave good advice about places to eat near by. Able to get rooms for all the family. Central location and great Thai restuarant downstairs for evening meal. Kettle and mugs in room to make tea or coffee.

Nice friendly staff with large rooms and in a very clean condition. There is private parking to the rear of the hotel which was useful. The associated Thai restaurant was very good and worth a visit. The location is perfect in the centre of town and close to all amenities.

No complaints, good place to stay. Would go back again

Central location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Booked 5 rooms for extended family. All rooms were good . Staff were very friendly and met our special requests with a smile. Restaurant below served delicious Thai food for all of us at one big table in the evening.
