The bathroom is very dated and in need of work. TV didn’t work The breakfast menu is confusing - choose 1 item only - which could just be toast!

The location is lovely and the room was comfortable. Fans provided. Toiletries provided smelt beautiful

Hot in room at the very top. But with open windows better. No remote for TV.

Comfortable bed and lovely Bramley products. Proper coffee and teas in room with fresh milk brought in the morning which was lovely touch. Great breakfasts with local products. Old pub. Staff really friendly.

Room layout was a bit strange. Room 2 straight into bathroom only a bath and no shower. We could not find the sink for ages until we opened the wardrobe door and there it was in the wardrobe lol

Beautiful property in a stunning location x little sleepy village in the middle of nowhere x

Room 1 where we were faced the road and was quite noisy. For the price we paid, I wouldn't have expected the sink to be cracked, nor the toilet to be dripping all night.

Beautiful location, onsite restaurant, outdoor seating, quirky.

We wished there was a way to cool down without letting in bugs. We were equipped with one small fan and there wasn't a screen in the window or a way to keep bugs out without keeping the window closed.

Wow where to start! First of all, the staff went out of their way to help us and be kind and welcoming to us. We loved how old and historic the inn is - a 500 year old building as most are in the Cotswolds. However, that does mean that it doesn't have AC. However, that means you'll get a very charming interior and exterior. The room was extremely clean and decorated charmingly. We had a luxurious clawfoot bath with wonderfully hot water. The breakfast in the morning is a must - make sure you do not miss it! The eggs are "Cacklebean" eggs which are from local chickens and the yolk are the most orange color I've ever seen! The bread and local butter are wonderful. I must say - I thought I would be taxi-ing or Ubering all over the Cotswolds to see all the sights: Stow on the Wold, Burton on the Water, Morton on the Marsh etc. However, there are no Ubers and taxis are quite expensive. So make sure to adjust your expectations and stay in one place. There was a lot to do in Kingham - the restaurant at the Kingham Plough has a delightful menu and for dinner we walked to the Wild Rabbit - which is one of the most well-known restaurants in Cotswolds anyway. And we enjoyed our stroll around the neighborhood where there are the most charming houses.

We stayed two years ago but thought for 195.00 per night the value of the brakfast had gone down. No cereal or marmalade with toast offered this timeOnly could choose one thing of the breakfast menu and selection of dinner menu not as good,

Lovely cute country pub in one of my favourite villages. Bedroom very nice.

    The cost!

It was a lovely pub with lovely characterful rooms and we enjoyed our stay here. It was expensive but I guess being the bank holiday weekend and being in the Cotswolds pushes the price up! The breakfast was a highlight and it was so peaceful at night!
