Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner, but accept it is mainly due to the age of them.

Great stay, good food & very dog friendly.

I am not a bath girl, so having only a bath with a hand held shower head was a real disappointment for me. The water temp wasn't great & the water pressure was pretty poor so I really struggled trying to 'shower' in the morning. We only stayed for one night, so it was far from the end of the world, but if if we were staying longer, I can see it being an issue for someone like me. I feel like the tv could do with an upgrade too. However, all that said, I could happily stay here again, knowing now that I can maybe request a room with a shower

The staff were amazing, we had contact with numerous team members throughout our stay, & they were all so friendly & helpful in their own ways. They were very genuine, no fake nonsense at all, which I really loved. The room overall was cute, was cosy & I can see it being super cosy in the colder months. Loads of parking & the pub itself was great. My boyfriend loved the big bath. We had both dinner & breakfast at the pub & both were great. Exceptional taste, quality & value.

The kitchen has no dishwasher, but it is expected that guests wash the dishes so you're reliant on the cleanliness of those who stayed before you. Unfortunately, we had to re-wash everything we wanted to use. The living spaces can do with a decent clean. The lighting in rooms and living spaces can be improved.

Cottage is spacious with rustic character showing it's heritage. The food in the adjacent pub is excellent. There's ample free on-site parking, close to the cottages. The quiet little village is great for an evening stroll.

Just a few things would have made a difference, there was no plug in the bathroom sink, and the lampshades were very tatty with a few pounds spent the room could have been perfect. An iron and ironing board was provided in the room which really wasn't necessary.

Very friendly staff , comfy bed and pillows, great breakfast, hot and freshly cooked.

    Nothing, it was all excellent.

Room was clean, comfortable, private, well stocked with towels, tea and French press coffee maker. Great selection of tv channels, free parking right outside the door, pub directly across the car park with outdoor seating area and cosy indoor bar and dining area. Nice menu, good food and service. Excellent value and perfect for an overnight stopover in a quiet neighbourhood country setting.

Ales were not really to my taste. Pie was OK (more pastry than meat). Gravy was poor. Breakfast not served until 8am is too late for some travellers.

A decent menu and a good range of ales are on offer. Nice peaceful beer garden

Perhaps a really good clean might have been nice, behind the bedside table and the lower part of the bathroom. I did email the property directly before booking, but received no response, communication wasn't great.

Lovely little place for a one night stop. Single room was comfy, adequate for the short stay. Lots of off-street parking. Nice pub, food, drinks all great. I thought I had booked a room with breakfast, but apparently not, maybe double check and screenshot the page you're booking from before you go ahead and pay, so that there's no grey area, I do feel there was a discrepancy there somewhere, but didn't chase it up. The room had a kettle, tea/coffee etc.

Although I loved the old feel of the room it really needs a bit of attention. Paint work scratched up. Had to pull out bedside cabinets to find sockets one was badly taped up some wires exposed. Bathroom needs upgrade.

Lovely Old Pub. Room had that really old feel to it. Very helpful and friendly staff. Stayed one night for a concert in Westonbirt arboretum located literally 2 miles down the road very convenient.

The mattress was a tad squishy for me.

It was so quintessentially English; very quirky, like a rabbit warren. Just my taste; low doors, vintage bits & bobs, antique effect furnishings. I loved it. A pretty floral garden too, with deliciously scented honeysuckle.

The en-suite had a hand held shower over an elegant bath however, the water pressure was insufficient to use.

There wasn't any hot water for a shower when we got back after a local concert. The wifi dips in and out too.
