All fantastic. I personally would have loved separate shampoo/conditioner rather than all in one body/hair wash but it didn't matter to me as everything else was so fantastic.

Everything. Room was perfect, bed was so comfortable and we even had homemade muffins ready in the room when we arrived!! The breakfast was cooked to PERFECTION and there was much more choice than expected.

There’s is absolutely nothing that we didn’t love about it.

The B&B is in a wonderful, quiet location but still central. It’s very comfortable and welcoming and has everything you need. We stayed in one of the larger double rooms and loved it so much. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the hosts have definitely put thought into kitting the rooms out, and they are also two of the loveliest people ever. They’re very welcoming and helpful and are very knowledgeable about the area. The breakfasts are 10/10 and they offer such a great selection. Absolutely would 100% stay here again.

Engine and Clare are so nice and friendly and make you feel very welcome. The beds are really comfy, and rooms are lovely and clean. All the little extras like the muffins and little tin of biscuits are a lovely touch. The breakfast was really nice too, and it is a super location close to all the pubs and restaurants. We had a fabulous time here and will definitely be returning. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B.

The apartment was centrally located and had free parking. East access to restraunts around. The highlight of our trip was the Breakfast time. We got amazing company along with delicious food. The hosts- Claire and Eugene were awesome.

Great location in Ambleside, close to the shops and pubs but more importantly to all the walking routes around it. Also 50m away from a bus stop that connects you with the rest of Lake District. Amazing spot for walkers and ramblers. Our room was great and clean - plenty of space, very generous and cosy bed, en suite bathroom with a shower, TV and great coffee (actual coffee machine) and tea making facilities. Couldn't ask for more. Our hosts were also amazing - check in and check out was without any problems, cooked for us some really nice full English breakfast and most importantly, were always there if you needed them. Thanks for having us! Highly recommended.

Claire and Eugene are the friendliest and most helpful of hosts and they made us feel so welcome. Our room and shower were perfect and breakfast was delicious. Everything was spot on from start to finish. We needed for nothing. The hosts Clare and Eugene both excel in their hospitality skills. We felt welcomed and looked after and had the most perfect stay. Now we have discovered this 'gem' of a b+b we wouldn't go anywhere else. The rooms are very comfortable, peaceful, relaxing and spotlessly clean. Each room has the usual bottled water, tea, coffee , coffee machine, biscuits and a mini fridge for the fresh milk. The chocolate and raspberry muffins on arrival was a lovely touch. The pre ordered freshly cooked english breakfast was delicious and made with good quality ingredients. Other options are available. The Lakes b and b is in walking distance to all the shops, cafés ,restaurants , pubs and cinemas. A small bus station is just around the corner with regular buses throughout the day ,making it easy to travel to Windermere, Bowness, Grasmere , Kendal and Keswick. You just have to give this special place a try , we will definitely be back.
