Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAll good.
Thoughtfully arranged and equipped. Cosy, quiet and everything we could possibly need. Off road parking. Consideration by the house owner for our privacy. Short downhill walk to lovely brasserie on the seafront - serves good food most of the day. We will recommend.

United KingdomI wished I’d read more about the mattress on the floor, it was incredibly uncomfortable & spoilt the stay. There are sections of the bathroom floor where mosaic tiles are missing & there was a huge clump of hair just left in the toilet- these although minor points make the full rate a bit hard to justify as value for money.
We chose primarily because of the close proximity to a golf course where we were booked to play & the coastal path & walkable distance into The Mumbles & the fact the car could be parked on site. All plus points. As was the fresh milk, bread for toast, Welsh cakes in situ - a nice touch

United KingdomNothing - a great stay
Fantastic apartment, right by Langland Bay and all the walks along the Mumbles! Brilliant location near the beaches and a winner for that alone...however, the apartment was brilliant! Everything you needed, down to a pint of milk and some bagels! Little touches matter and they were great. Apartment is good size and good quality and the bedroom above is just as good. All the little things were there - even plugs by the bed! Sofa was also super comfortable! Wood Burner means it would be lovely in winter too!

United KingdomAs others have mentioned, I think you need to be aware that the bed mattress is directly on the floor and possibly could be awkward for some people. For us it just provided a bit of a giggle, and actually the mattress itself was comfortable. Also, yes, it is hilly both to the nearest beach and also to the Mumbles itself. Make sure you have enough energy to walk back up the steep hills !
The accommodation was lovely, very clean and lots of little extras to make it feel homely. The milk, crumpets and Welsh cakes were a lovely touch on our arrival. A nice selection also of games and books if needed. Using the accommodation as a base, we were able to access both the main Mumbles area and also Langland bay. It took us a little longer to do the walk to Mumbles than expected, a good half hour, but then again my geography probably wasn't too good ! The nearest beach was only 10 minutes and it was beautiful down there, people swimming and surfing. We had a lovely breakfast overlooking the bay. We then took the opportunity to do the coastal walk path and it was very lovely. About 2 miles long but great views and many benches. We had a trip on the land train in Mumbles, and really enjoyed this getting off at Bill point having a bit of a wander on the beach and a lovely ice cream. In the centre there were many little shops and places to eat out. It certainly is a very lovely area to explore. in the morning we visited another beach just a little drive away, Caswell bay, get there early if you want a parking spot. Lovely beach but sea comes in close when high tide.

United KingdomSleeping area was a little awkward for us. Great if you're ok at getting off the floor ( we were not) it was a bit of a giggle getting up and down,.however it was comfortable.
Good use of a smaller living space. Everything for a stay was available in the bathroom and kitchen. Great price! Great location. An easy walk down to a lovely beach. Cute apartment. Short drive to shops, coffee and restaurants.

United KingdomFNTASTIC ! - We were absolutely delighted with the Lovely Loft - It was so COOL and every little detail was perfection. the layout was well consdered and all the choices and equipment supplied were top specification. The hosts are clearly generous and detail orientated. the books were enticing and I would come back to jsut browse the Surf books the art work was fun and super local views etc the beds were exceptionally comfortable. My daughter just graduated, and after a long drive from different ends of the country, it was the perfect place to tuck our family up in together to celebrate graduating after 3 years in beautiful Swansea. The Loft is a short stroll down to the lovely beach and the most idyllic walks in either direction on a super smooth coastal walkway. Also, great restaurants are just a few paces down the hill. I would highly recommend you book this lovely property. It even had a washing machine. Thank you to the lovely hosts for kindly helping loan us the extra item we required. Happy hosting and Happy Stays to all your future guests.

United KingdomBed area on mezzanine had even lower ceiling than it appeared in photos, so it felt a bit claustrophobic . Also outside seating area was essentially the back garden of main house, and very close to the house, I felt a bit uncomfortable sitting there. But overall a lovely property for a short stay
Living area bright and spacious, whole place was very clean and very well equipped. Nice welcoming touches - milk, water and butter in fridge, and a packet of Welsh cakes and crumpets.

Gorgeous place, really homely and immaculately clean. Perfect location as just a few minutes from the gorgeous Langland Beach. Cute little garden that was a sun trap and great to have parking on the drive.

United KingdomThe grass in the garden had been hammered by the wet winter so my dog couldn’t use it for fear of muddy paws in the house - in normal drier times this enclosed grassy space would have been perfect. Hopefully I’ll be back to check!!
Great location: quiet area but near the beach. Well presented property that was both clean and cosy. Very comfortable bed. I enjoyed evenings with the warmth from the log burner. I loved the lighting. Thanks for the milk and Welsh cakes to welcome me. My dog and I had a wonderful couple of days.

United KingdomThe things we didnt like were not really down to the accomodation, more to do with our age (early 70's) and abillities. For instance, the property description says it is 10 mins from the beach. What it fails to mention is that the route is down a VERY steep hill ! So yes it takes 10 mins to get to the beach, but 30 mins to struggle back up the hill. If you are getting on a bit and your knees are not in the prime of youth, you might find this very off putting (as we did). In the accomodation the upstairs bedroom is cute, but the mattress is flat on the floor. Thats something we had not noticed when we booked. So in the middle of the night, getting up to answer a call of nature was a challenge. So to sum up, nice place, but perhaps better suited to a young fit couple, rather than a couple of creaky veterans.
well equipted kitchen, nice little garden area. Cute accomodation, perfect for a young couple. But if you are getting on a bit take note of what we thought below...
