The only letdown was not being able to eat as I hadn’t booked in advance, it would have been helpful to have been advised to book at the booking stage and at check in , couldn’t get anything in the town either as everywhere was fully booked

The room was very good , though it might have been a bit noisy being over a pub but was fine, nice double wash facilities and double shower and a good breakfast

The building and courtyard look a little tired and the room we stayed in would benefit from a little updating. We missed not having a fridge in the room.

I felt it was quite expensive but then you do have to pay for quality and hotel prices have gone up generally. I would not have been happy with a middle of the road hotel.

Lack or parking unless you want a long walk. We had large suitcases to drag to the room, still jet lagged after an international flight. Not for the faint hearted.

Very hard for an American to figure out how to work the showers!! They are fancy and nice but: they should come with instructions!

A charming inn with all the amenities in the center of town., location is perfect. The staff was super responsive and flexible, and changed around our rooms when they didn't meet my sister's needs. Excellent food, including nice breakfast. If you like staying at B and B's with twisty staircases and wonderful character, you will find the Globe warm and inviting.

This venue is wonderful. The accommodation is kept well, beds are super comfortable and I really like the decor. Bar service was good too and the range of drinks available did not disappoint. I must single out the breakfast which not only was served well by an attentive staff member but the quality of ingredients, how the food tasted and its presentation were all above my expectations. Minor criticism was Wi-fi was poor so could access some TV channels. Other than that our stay was a memorable one.

The hotel is in a great location and close to amenities. The family room had a lot of room and we felt very comfortable with the separate rooms with TV, was unexpected. The breakfast included, was great too. The overall experience was value for money, we would highly recommend.
