Firstly, the landlady/host was lovely! She greeted us and our dog with a friendly and inviting welcome. The property itself was lovely, you can tell that a lot of love has gone into the rooms- especially the small details. I loved that we had a balcony to take the dog down in the early morning and late evening- super convenient! The breakfast is amazing!!!!! And the service was just as good!

The shower was loose and mixing the hot and cold water was an art form.

Located right on the river bank with it's own mooring slot. We had a lovely view overlooking the river with a veranda. A very well listed menu to suit all tastes.

Pub situated next to the river, good welcome and shown the room which was large and clean. Crisp bed linen and large bed. Good lighting, bedside lamps and centre light. Large clean bathroom. Comfy bed and breakfast choices very good as was the coffee. Breakfast well cooked. Sleep good until hen party started getting ready for the day which obviously out of establishments control. Would recommend and stay again

The shower in our room was so bad, no pressure, no hot water. If you were to have a bath it would take 1/2a day to fill.9

The veranda was a great bonus, but it needs a much needed bit of TLC. The bathroom, compared to the bedroom, is not on par and does need a complete overhaul, including using bath sheets rather than bath towels! Some of the Inn is in need of a lick of paint in places.

The room was well laid out, plenty of room, and all you needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was huge and so comfy. Really good welcome tray with different tea offered, etc. The veranda was a good added bonus to the room, too! Breakfast was so tasty, and staff were all welcoming and so helpful.

General information pack in room with WiFi code, in stead of in the corridor. The addition of a second armchair would be a bonus, instead of having to sit on bed, together with a small fridge for milk etc. Lower shelves in bathroom, for shorter people. A stool in the bathroom would have been helpful.

I was heading to Sussex and wanted to break my journey up. I ‘only needed a bed for the night’ but I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the pretty location snd the comfort of my room. It was exceptionally clean, large, the bed was massive and so comfortable I didn’t want to get out of it! Bathroom was great and large too, there was a little balcony overlooking the river with a table and chairs I ate dinner in the restaurant, it was delicious, freshly prepared Breakfast, too, so much choice and all cooked to order

The shower was a real let down. It was either scolding or freezing and the shower was just about hanging on the wall. Such a shame.

The shared balcony is not ideal. People walking past means you have to shut the curtains during the day.

The outside is a bit rundown but the interior is very well presented and clean. The location is excellent and lovely views

'Severn' room. Very large. Nicely decorated. Coffee machine. Big TV. Fan. Massive comfy bed. Balcony with table chairs and a beautiful view overlooking the river. Staff were realllllllly pleasant and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Put the view from our balcony below..

Room was fabulous, clean and comfortable except for shower over bath , not very accessible and pressure on shower negligible just a tricle couldn't rinse my hair !

We have stayed here before, location is amazing and it's so quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to return.

Quite remote. There's nowhere to go without a car (not a criticism of the place itself, but worth potential visitors knowing about). Drinks were quite expensive as well. The shower pressure was truly atrocious. Only minor criticisms though - it was nice.

Being by the side of the river was lovely. The staff were nice. The food was excellent and the accommodation itself was very reasonably priced. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. Balcony was lovely and peaceful to sit on. We were stopping off to split up a longer journey so it worked well for us. Wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay where you want to go out and do things.

The given ZIP code and address was missleading. As we learnt, there is no direct ZIP code for teh property, but still... Not a big issue, but it took a while to find it.

Nice, cozy hotel in a beautiful calm area. It is located directly nearby a msall river, with boats and ducks, etc. The view from teh balcony was great. The room was clean and pretty big and the bed size was excellent, which is absolutely not normal in UK... :-)
