Lovely welcome, accomodation very comfortable, clean & spacious. Ate in the reataurant & had the tasting menu with wine pairing, which was exceptional. All the staff were very friendly & attentive throughout. A wonderful experience.

In 3 weeks in the UK/Wales this tied for the best stay of the 6 places we stayed. Staff was amazing. Food at the restaurant was amazing. Bed was amazing. Location was perfect.

A little noisy if you're sensitive, with noise from the downstairs bar and people passing on the street - especially late at night (although this is issue for most accommodation in the centre). Is next to the main road through town so traffic noise can be noticeable, especially if you need windows to be open. Duplex apartment accessible by flight of stairs and further stairs to two upper floors, so may be a problem for those with accessibility issues. Kitchen staff from the downstairs restaurant making noise and smoking early in the morning comes up through back windows if open. Slightly stingy on provision of consumables - one single dishwasher tablet, one laundry pod, one tea towel, water filter jug but no filter insert provided. Basic and slightly bizarre kitchen equipment provision - four sieves but only one frying pan, three measuring jugs but no baking trays/dishes, lots of blunt kitchen knives and no sharpener.

Town centre location, close to shops, bars and restaurants - five to ten minutes walk from the beach. Spacious and luxurious accommodation. Master suite on top floor is superb with loads of space and access to huge bathroom with walk in shower and small bath. Secondary bedrooms also high standard, but smaller with access to shared, smaller second bathroom. Good storage in all rooms and generous provision of towels. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Excellent, modern kitchen appliances - including washer/dryer and large fridge/freezer. Large lounge with lots of seating and dining space. Some provision of supplies was welcome, with tea bags, coffee and milk sachets (nice to see some diary free sachets provided as well). Free car parking relatively close (a minutes walk) along with informal arrangement to store bikes behind building. Excellent staff looking after accommodation (in restaurant/bar downstairs). Above best restaurant in Barmouth!

The only negative comment is having to move the large bed to retrieve something dropped there was a large amount of dust under it.

The food was excellent, the staff were very good and ensured that my dietary needs were met. The kitchenette was useful and when returning in the future will plan our trip to make full use of it as this stay was just to check out the area.

Loved everything about it, from the air con in the room to the little touches, like the Welsh made toiletries. Everything in the room was great quality and the shower was fantastic. The sound proofing was also very effective as we couldn’t hear anything outside the room

If you going to have the breakfast I would pay when booking hotel as it's a lot cheaper we decided to have breakfast after booking and for 2 off us it cost £40 which I thought was expensive for 1 coffee each orange juice each and a small breakfast (1 toast ,1 mushroom, 1 bacon,1 sausage,1 tom, 1 hash and half black pudding no beans available)

The hotel is a must stay very clean and nice Staff very helpful and friendly will stay again but without the breakfast cook own next time

The mattress was very hard and the air con was noisy. More info on parking once booked would be helpful and also advance notice of how booked up the restaurant gets would be great.

Maybe the option for a slightly later checkout on the weekend would have been nice.

Breakfast was delicious, The staff were very professional, patient and understanding as I was travelling with my elderly father. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable.

I love the loft room. The kitchen area is well equipped & useful. Worth it for the air-con & the blackout blinds alone. Staff are lovely. The street can be a little noisy, but you cant hear a thing once the windows are closed. We have stayed here the last two years, and will continue to do so, on our annual barmouth visit.

Lack of Tea towel in kitchenette

Central location for all amenities. Quiet room with exception of seagulls, but thats outside anyone's control! Excellent breakfast with high standard of ingredients. Friendly efficient service. Comfy beds with excellent standard of linen and towels. Stylish outside area for drinks with electronic cover for bad weather and sun hotspot from lunchtime. Free secure parking and good Wifi.

There was nothing not to like. But, as a suggestion a manual to operate some of the utilities would have been helpful, eg the hob and oven. Having said that the staff were happy to help us.
