The room at the back of the property was noisy with an intermittent generator hum. Hopefully the issue has been dealt with.

It was a perfect getaway in the Cotswolds. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Have stayed a couple of times at The Lion Inn and really love it. So cosy & comfortable with lovely rooms and very comfortable beds. The team are super friendly and welcoming Perfect location in Winchcombe Plus the Breakfasts are delicious!

The room was small which was fine for one night. Made worse by the understandable restriction on opening the sash window. Directions to the municipal car park, time restrictions and how to pay would have been helpful.

Lovely village inn in Winchcombe. We stayed there while cycling in the Cotswolds. Our room was small but beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great after a day cycling. Breakfast was delicious and we ate dinner there too - also delicious. The inn is right in the middle of the village but parking is easy as there is a public car park at the rear and there is direct access into the pub. Would definitely stay here again.

Historic building, an old coach house. Very friendly staff. Only 9 rooms. The room was small but quaint and beautifully furnished. Nice dinner in the garden. Extremely convenient parking behind the Inn. Location in the middle of Cotswolds.

Fantastic staff. Every single one we interacted with helped to make our stay perfect. The lovely old building has lots of features and the bedroom was beautiful. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant and were very pleased we had booked ahead as it was fully booked and several people turning up without reservations were turned away. Book your table early!

Staff and facilities and location couldn't be beat. A combination of family care, mixed with professional travel luxury. From on-site dining to nearby activities, we didn't stay nearly as long as we would have liked. We'll be back!
