Stayed here for a few years now. Always a lovely stay. Clean and comfortable with lots of added little extras.

The only thing I would change is the mattress, but maybe it's just me.

I stayed for a week in August and really enjoyed it. The room was lovely, cosy and very clean. I loved all the little extra touches. The hosts were very kind and helpful . The cleaning lady did an excellent job. The location was perfect. I'm planning my next trip here.

The room was absolutely amazing, stylish and practical, even down to the little details like the sweets 🍬 Definitely would stay there again , bar was fantastic, staff were friendly.

Clean, spacious, lovely decor. Little touches like sweets / biscuits, plenty of tea and coffee etc. Made us feel welcome and at home. Some reviews mention noise from the bar underneath but it wasn't too loud, it closes at 10pm and not open every night, really didn't disturb us at all.

Stayed on the way to Sunderland ( from West Cumbria ). Lovely room , good location, great view. Lovely small ( much appreciated) touches - sweets,chocs , biscuits etc .

It wasn't easy to locate, the name needs to be more visible. The water pressure in the shower was poor.

The room was large, quirky, extremely comfortable, well stocked with nice products. The building is in a central location within Seaham, itself a nice location.

Window didn’t close properly due to broken latch so was a little noisy but this was reported to the owner. Not a problem for us but be aware that all rooms are on at least the 3rd floor with no elevator. All situated above a nice bar and Indian restaurant on the lower levels.

Easy self checking process using lock box at front door. Good location right on the sea front. Well stoked with useful amenities inc a small in-room fridge and fan.

Great location! The room and bathroom were a great size with plenty of space for two adults and a teenager. It was lovely and clean and very comfortable.

The mattress was awful and definately needs replacing. It caused a lot of bounce for one of us when the other turned over resulting in lack of sleep. We expected there to be a bar at the property as it clearly states so in the name but were disappointed to find the entrance to the bar on the first floor was locked with no explanations as to why. The property is a self check in with keys in the lock box at the main door.

The room exceeded our expectations was well decorated and had lots of little added extras. There was a small fridge, safe, iron and ironing board. The tea coffee tray was well stocked with extra supplies on the landing. The location was good near a shopping centre with a view of the sea.

Having to carry my bag up the stairs and the bar was not open in the evening. I also was not offered breakfast. Not sir is that was even part of my package. Also instructions on how to check in did not come until I had already arrived and I was confused on how to get in. It all worked out though the people were wonderful.

Please look at the cold water tap in the bathroom shower in room 5, as it was very hot and we couldn’t adjust it.

Great location, there was a food festival on so parking wasn’t easy. Just needed to be patient, but plenty later at night. The little added extras were delightful. Overall, the stay was excellent.

I don't think there is anything that could have been done better, the room was exactly what we expected.

The room was clean and had everything that we needed. The parking was a bit of a nightmare at first as it is not a dedicated car park just for the hotel, so we had to move our car after parking it in a space that was not ideal but then a better space became available a bit later on. The bar closed earlier than 11pm, but luckily the Indian restaurant downstairs was still just about open to get some snacks.

Only feedback would be the shower was lacking in any power and the door was fiddly to lock. Otherwise everything was great.

The property was clean, comfortable and easy to find/access. Right on the sea front and was perfect for our needs. Room was really well stocked with tea coffee etc as well as some toiletries Bed was comfortable and room was light and airy.

Being from the US it was a bit warm w/o AC but the fan was much appreciated. Being older the stairs was a concern at first but we managed. All in all it was truly a great location & met our needs! TY!
