The location was lovely and the staff friendly.

Position wise excellent. In lovely village and on the right side for the park and ride into Stratford. Accommodation very comfortable in a nice room with en-suite.

the owner was attentive, the bar was lovely, the food was excellent. Breakfast was good (Full English)

The room I stayed in was absolutely lovely. Clean, comfortable and lovely 4 poster bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and cooked fresh to order and the staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. And it was a short lovely walk from the local train station.

There was nothing i didn’t like about the property. Apart from latest I could have breakfast was 9am on a Saturday morning when I’d just been to a wedding the night before! Lol

Comfortable size room, lovely period furniture, very comfy bed, lots of room for clothes, Water was very hot, roomy bath, powerful shower, Clean and tidy. Plenty of milk and coffee, and bottled water, in room. The staff were really helpful and friendly, always happy to help. Breakfast was freshly cooked, no complaints, chef does a great poached egg. Thank you Mark for a lovely stay, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon hopefully, youve got a great team behind you, and also thank you Tina for brightening up our mornings. Very comfortable small Inn in a small village close to Stratford. We had the Romeo and Juliet room, complete with a four poster bed. Staff were friendly, meals were good.

The Inn is being renovated later in the year, so all will be different after that.

No bin in the bathroom and no towel rail or peg but otherwise a perfect stay 😍

Great hotel, very friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean. Would stay again if back in the area.

The location was wonderful. Quite picturesque village. The property was a beautiful listed building

It was shabby. Needs a good deep clean. Cobwebs everywhere, even on the inside of the windows in the dining area. Deep dust along the carpet edge in our room. The outside of the toilet bowl was dirty and along the seem where it meets the floor. The bathroom radiator had stains down it. The kettle sits on a shelf above the electric plug supplying the power. There were streaks running down the wall, created from the the kettle's stream, down to the plug. Hello electric and water don't mix. There was a hair dryer in our room which had Do Not Use wrote on it. Remove it in the first instance!

Everything was more than perfect ,we had a evening meal which was exceptional so we was more than happy

Fabulous place to stay, only 5 minutes from Stratford, but a million miles from the crowds. If you're looking for the quintessential English village pub, you won't go wrong here, friendly staff & locals, great food, clean rooms, would've stayed longer if I could've.

The fact that the owner was nice.

No drinkable water and you have to pay for bottles of water to wash your teeth. Too few sockets. Too much neon light filters through making it hard to sleep.
