Much improved from visit last year. Room was very comfortable. Requested fan following visit last year where room was extremely hot, fan was provided. Food in restaurant was basic but well cooked presented well, served within 15mins, much improved from visit last year

Breakfast ended a bit early for my elderly mum but Charlotte gave us plenty of time and she was very helpful, willing and pleasant. House keeping staff were also very pleasant

Overall the Hotel was very good but was sadly let down by the restaurant. The choice was limited, I ordered a starter and main and they both came at the same time, and who has Lettuce with Steak pie mash and gravy!

Very helpful staff at 24 hours a day reception. I checked in at 4 a.m. out at 8 a.m. after good English breakfast plus croissants - I will try cereals/yoghurt/cheeses/meats on my next stay!

Water temperature and pressure of the shower/bath could be better. It took a long time to fill the bath and the water wasn't as hot as I would like. The receptionist on arrival was not very welcoming and didn't smile.

Very comfortable bed. Good facilities. The room (and corridor outside) smelled lovely and were very clean. The receptionist at check out was friendly.

The biggest disappointment with a lot of hotels through booking.com is they mention 'parking available' but not that there is a fee. Had to pay for parking at a hotel in a remote area which is just pure money grabbing. Include this fee in your room price to not awaken customers to this extra cost during check in. It's kind of like extortion when you have the customer who has just traveled miles and just wants to get into his room to find out he has to pay a fee for parking. He'll just pay it. An extra £4.50 for 12 hrs. If you check in at 3pm you are more than likely going to have to pay a lot more. I was told the land was rented by the hotel, well that's between the land owner and the hotel not the paying customer. This can be easily fixed but sounds like a money fiddle somewhere...

Great reception customer service. Very friendly, accommodating, and hospitable staff. Nice and quiet room, great sleep. Breakfast a bit cold but plentiful and very fresh and good tasting. I couldn't get over how friendly and helpful all the staff were!!

The water in the shower was lukewarm. After a long journey, it would have been nice to take a hot shower, which is why I lowered my rating.

Good value for money, with nice and helpful staff. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The hotel provides everything you need for a short stay.

All the staff from reception to breakfast room were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, although teabags and pastries needed replenishing more frequently

The carpark should not be run by a private parking operator as they are only interested in making as much money from guests and not managing it.This has affected them & myself coming back..

Good location (for us) but also could be for Peterborough & surrounding area. If looking for all mod cons, then this is not for you, but more than comfortable for a couple of nights. Staff helpful and polite did get some misleading information about the parking operator owning the carpark at the hotel, which is technically incorrect.
