Absolutely nothing at all! Just a few things that may need a bit of attention- shower & door knob to sitting room a bit temperamental but didn’t affect the enjoyment of our stay at all. Something we did think may benefit future guests with dogs, is to put a wooden gate on the stairs to prevent them from going up there?

Amazing garden for our dogs, secure & spacious & lovely views of the birds feeding through the large We enjoyed the cosiness of the log burner (& blankets provided) & the rustic, quirky feel to the property. Lovely little thoughtful touches- A personalised postcard, eggs, mince pies, choccies & milk awaited us on arrival, plus treats for the dogs! The house was decorated beautifully, which added to the festive feel ☺️ The bed was also extremely comfortable & the owners really helpful, understanding & responsive to communications. We really loved it here, would highly recommend!

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!

The Nest itself was charming and comfortable. The location was beautiful; close to nature, peaceful, and an eye-opening change from our usual Essex surroundings. We loved the garden and access to the delightful riverbank. Trips out offered memorable and varied Somerset visits. Thank you!

Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully decorated throughout with a lovely garden and backed on to the river which you could walk along for miles. 10 minute walk along the river to the local pub which was excellent and dog friendly. We took our two dogs and it was perfect for them.

Nothing. Everything thought of and more.

Beautiful location. Thoughtful aspects that made the stay special, eg. eggs, milk, logs and fire lighters, games, use of air fryer…. to name only a few. Woodburner and tv in different rooms meant we kept extra warm and played the games supplied rather than staring at the tv. Warm duvets. Beautiful decor.

We are both 6 foot tall and had to bend down when standing in the bath to have a shower. This is so minor though, it wouldn't stop us booking again. It is an old building with lower ceilings.

Loved everything about our stay and property. Owners are lovely and beyond helpful. I accidently left my diamond earrings in the property. Nic and Hannah offered to post them with no second thought or care of cost to them. They have two dogs themselves which they take out to the rear of the property for toileting which leaves the whole garden for our dog to wander and toilet without the worry of meeting other dogs. It is lovely to be able to leave our dog in the property as many do not allow this. The property is dog friendly from a senior dog or mobility issue point of view. Just one step into the property and one step inside to go between the garden view room through the kitchen and into the TV snug. The bed is very comfortable. Nice and warm in the property....we arrived Boxing Day. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you both for being so welcoming and leaving welcome goodies for us and our dog.

The addition of a curtain in the room where the wood burning stove resides is the only thing I'd suggest. If I was here as part of a v much in love couple, this added privacy would be lovely! : )

There is almost nothing not to like! Fresh flowers & chocolate biscuits are just 2 of several nice touches. An all round lovely, warm & comfortable place.

We loved The Nest's spacious, immaculately furnished garden room, which looks out over a very pretty garden. Nic and Han were exceptional hosts, with great attention to detail, who made us feel extremely welcome and relaxed at their adorable property. We were really pleased with the rural, peaceful location of the property, which allows access straight out onto the Somerset Levels. On our return to The Nest following walks and cycle rides to explore this beautiful area, we enjoyed relaxing on the decking to the rear of the property and enjoying the incredible countryside views.

A picturesque location with a lovely garden and well equipped place, it has 2 living rooms, a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom and more than comfortable for a few days stay, the host is lovely and accommodating and pets are most welcome. The local pub is also very friendly and does lovely food.

nothing! It was absolutely perfect. we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back.

the house was beautiful and the gardens were gorgeous. it's right next to the river and we had dinner one evening there. We loved the fresh eggs and snacks that the hosts left us! The nest is spacious, comfy and clean. Everything feels brand new and it was spotless when we arrived. The beds are extremely comfy. The doors opening out on to the garden were an amazing treat and the countryside views are beautiful. It was a great base to go for walks, and we enjoyed sunbathing in the garden. The hosts were at work most days so we felt like we had the place to ourselves, but when we did meet them they were welcoming and warm and gave us some great tips for the local area. We loved the local pub too!
