Bathroom door was a bit hard for the kids to lock but that was not a big deal for us.

We loved everything! Honestly, I don't know why every review isn't 10! Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, communication with the host was great. There were lots of small details that were above and beyond which made us feel like this was more than a business for Euan and Emma but that they actually cared and want their guests to enjoy their stay. I think our kids were ready to move in! I loved the little notes on things giving more information on how to use etc. There was parking out front most of the time but we did not mind using the parking lot down the street. It was also very convenient. The living room furniture was also a hit with the kids. Everything was so comfortable and it really felt like we had arrived HOME every night. I could go on an on. We loved it!

Nothing we didn't like but would be amazing to have one of the upstairs rooms be able to be made into a king bed, instead of both being twins.

This is hands down the best self catering place I've ever stayed. The accommodation was perfectly situated, beautifully presented, superbly equipped and so comfortable for us all. The owners had fab communication with me and were ever so accommodating. It was the perfect home base from which to explore Skye and the Highlands.

Given that there was provision for almost 6 people - another bathroom would have been very welcome. This is not a complaint - just a suggestion.

The location was perfect. The property was way better than what it looks like in the photos. The fact that it's right next to a chippy and 10 steps away from a breakfast place and a distillery - just adds to the value. Best of all -our host was so gracious - one time we got locked out - he actually drove down to let us back into the property.

The home was very clean, beds super comfortable, and loved having a washer and dryer for cleaning our clothes. Although the home was located on the second floor in town our stay was very quiet. Our host was quick to respond when we had questions and we loved our stay. We were fortunate that each night we came in after 6pm and were able to park right in front of our home for free until 8 am each morning. This was a big plus.

A comfortable stay in clean and well-equipped accommodation, conveniently close to the Skye Bridge.

The details about how to find the property included reference to being next door to a B&B, which isn't there any more. This caused us a bit of confusion, though only briefly. We found the fragrance diffusers rather overpowering, but once we'd moved them to the hallway we were comfortable. Window handle/lock in the bathroom seemed to be broken.

The location was excellent for our purposes and the accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Instructions sent in advance were helpful, especially the advice about parking (but see below about finding the property!). We enjoyed our stay; it was a great base for exploring Skye - and better value than a lot of the Skye accommodation.

Very minor negatives because it was overall a very good place to stay. But we would suggest a check on a few things within the house that could really bring it up to a much higher standard. For instance, the bathroom window is in bad condition as is the blind in the bathroom. One table in the living room is unstable and requires attention. A bigger TV would be a great addition. Just a few things around the house that require a bit of minor work but as said before, these are minor negatives. It is a very good place to stay.

The location was excellent. Right beside the main road to Skye and very close to Skye bridge. Good Co Op within walking distance and places to eat nearby. Beds in the house were very comfortable, a really good sized kitchen. Lots of accessories like toiletries, tea, coffee etc. And good utensils, equipment in the kitchen. TV channels were decent too. House was also clean.

There was so many notes on every piece of equipment or furniture of the dos and don’t it made you feel like you were intruding on someones property and it was quite unwelcoming. Check-in time of 4pm- We were ok with having to check in 2hrs later than most check in times because we found something else to do, but to then read on one of the many notes in the apartment (plus communication sent to us via booking.com) that they expect you to clean AND put away all ur dishes, empty the bins and STRIP the beds before you leave to help the housekeeping . Isn’t that why we lost two hours from normal check in time to help housekeeping, you can’t have it both ways. I found that to be a bit disappointing, because it wasn’t like you got a later check out, it was still 10am.

This is a nice apartment up a set of stairs on the Main Street next to a fish and chip shop. The apartment is clean and tidy and has everything you might need for a short or longer stay, the beds are comfortable and the main floor stays pretty warm with the central heating (unfortunately the two twin rooms up stairs don’t have any heating) the lounge room is comfortable and all in all it’s a great apartment with enough space for 2 couples or a family. The parking situation can be annoying as it’s just street parking (first in) with 30min limit but there is a carpark about 200mtrs around the corner. The nav system got very confused with the roads in this little town so best to park and walk to main street find the small sign next to Hectors fish and chip store that says old post house and get ur keys and then find a park close by. The area doesn’t have many places to eat so do your research and be prepared to drive somewhere for dinner or eat in as there is a supermarket within walking distance.
