WiFi wasn’t great in the room, worked downstairs. Phone signal wasn’t great either- but that’s a local thing.

Really old and quaint property and the local area too. You can walk to the local Pub- The Griffin. Rural location. Very quiet.

Due to the age of the property some of the facilities were not that great . No privacy for the toilet . No light switch in the bathroom. Car parking a little awkward

Location was great Very clean and tidy

Not much hot water for a bath. If you don’t mind this, it’s perfect. And probably completely fixable if you let Jane know in advance.

Jane was lovely, a really attentive host. The rooms were beautifully characterful - the Old Rectory dates from the 14th century! Everything was clean and welcoming.

Tea/coffee making in the room would of been better and the shower head is too low, but that can’t really be improved.

Quirky and homely, lovely building and loads of space in the room. Owner was lovely and very chatty about the area.

The lighting whilst getting ready for a wedding was not ideal but the property is old. Breakfast was ok but the yoghurt upset my stomach - not sure how long it had been left out as there was no one in the property and we were left to fend for ourselves

The property is very old but has character. Plenty of space in rooms and bed comfy

The only down side was the shower. The roof was so low that you had to sit in the bath to shower. But, I could live with that.

It was a beautiful building in a nice quiet location with a nice pub nearby.

A minor point was the absence of a shaver socket, but the charge in my shaver sufficed for the short stay

The location suited my requirements to be close to the M6 and Coventry

As expected awkward for showering. Room temperature rather cool. No tea making facilities in the room. A bedside table and lamp would be nice and the hair dryer not obvious. Not immediately obvious where to park.

Nice selection for continental breakfast. Very clean and friendly welcome. Not too far to NEC.

My only issue is my height regarding the washing facilities in the room, I'm over 6ft and being a very old property headroom in the bathroom wasn't the best. But not a big problem

The property was as described a lovely old rectory. The owner was very helpful and accommodating for individual needs. Breakfast was simple toast, fruit, and cereal with plenty of drinks. No need for a cooked breakfast.

Shower not full height due to sloping ceiling. Was manageable but not very relaxing. Lights for the room and bathroom on the same switch so had to turn on all lights to use the bathroom in the night.

No bedside table with a lamp, so couldn't put a glass of water by bed. TV breaks up when you move; only soap in bathroom - no other toiletries. No tea/coffee facilities - have to go to kitchen.

Small things: I would have liked tea making facilities. Breakfast was self service continental style- all very pleasant but limited. No evening meal available at local pub but could be obtained further afield.

A lovely period property in an attractive tiny backwater village. Friendly reception with a cup of tea. Comfortable room. Helpful host. Very quiet. Close to Heart of England Way.
