There was nothing we as a couple did not enjoy about our stay in Pete and Lexis incredible home. Our room was spacious, and beautifully furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole house really felt like a home from home!

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The warmed croissants were a nice touch and the fresh fruit, Greek yogurt and selection of cereals hit the spot. Fresh coffee was my personal favourite and the luxury of having a leisurely breakfast in our beautiful room was just perfect.

Everything was as expected so nothing to dislike

Location was fabulous, great view from the room, breakfast was great, lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt, catered really well for my Gluten free needs

Nothing - all was good.

Beautiful spacious room with a superb view. The breakfast in the room was a great idea and very generous. The fridge in the room was a bonus with fresh milk, juice, yoghurt and fruit. Lexi and Pete were really welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay in their beautiful home.

Exceptionally clean and well appointed, great breakfast and beautiful quiet location, Lexie and Peter were wonderful hosts. Bathroom was not en-suite (we knew that on booking) but only a door opposite away and again spotless clean. Would definately stay again if in the area.

Only downside is that the bathroom is along the corridor, but is was spacious and clean and we were not disturbed at all.

Owners were lovely and welcoming. The room was comfortable and very clean. Loved watching the house martins outside the window and hearing the owl in the morning. Breakfast was fresh and lovely. Bed was really comfortable.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

The Old Rectory was a delightful, character property set in beautiful countryside. Lexie's communication pre-stay was excellent and she warmly welcomed us when we arrived. The room was lovely and very comfortable with every amenity available. The bathroom was just over the corridor from the room and was stunning - a gorgeous bath and steaming hot shower. We loved our stay.

I have to say out of all the bookings I have made this has been 100% the best place we have ever stayed! It was clean comfortable and such an amazing property with outstanding views, I wish we would have had more time to enjoy it, as it was just a last minute booking. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Lexie when we arrived who was warm and welcoming, she went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and extremely stress free so Lexie thank you very much for everything you did for us. Pete managed to catch us as we were leaving early this morning and made a point of coming to speak to us, I’m sorry we didn’t get that chance to meet you properly but you seemed like such a true gent 😊 If we ever come to the area again we will booking with you again so hopefully one day we get to meet again.

A sitting room outside of the bedroom would have made it fantastic. Need to drive out for a restaurant. No cooked breakfast (both points we were aware of from description). These were minor issues, overall very pleased

A wonderful experience from start to finish. A beautiful room with a view, loving hosts and what a house! Blown away by Pete and Lexie's kindness. We will not hesitate to book again. We very much enjoyed waking up to warm croissants, fresh coffee, milk and juice couple with delicious greek yogurt with berries in our bedroom fridge. Thank you Pete and Lexie.
