Bed not as firm as I m use to, but the two thin spongy pillows were good for my neck. I arrived later than expected, and I assumed i could stay in same room because I booked another night on booking.com during the night. When they tried contacting me early after breakfast I did not hear the noise of messages. I was a bit shaken (due to mental health, to be then told I had to return my room keys when they knocked on my door. As I don't like changes. I should have told them about my mental health issue) in the end it was sorted. A bit disappointed that same receptionist not wish me a safe journey- in view of my difficulties on the way there. I still think I will return.

I should really give more than 4 star. One it lived up to my expectations of being a superb place. I liked quirky room names. And - two I was helped with diagrams of where car park entrance was, while on my eventful journey.. And a nice receptionist who was on the phone was reassuring about my difficult journey. And got to speak the nice first receptionist at my 2nd breakfast as she was serving.

A very small suggestion, to have an iron and ironing board in the room. Not a critism just an observation.

Everything. The staff were lovely. The location was beautiful. The room was what we needed. Decor was inbetween traditional and modern. The breakfast was delicious. Great to have parking aswell. The people around the village were so nice. Cornish people are warm and friendly, just like us Welsh.

Location is perfect! We had the English Room… what a treat. It was big, bright and extremely comfortable. The windows open onto the harbour offering first hand viewing of boats and related activities. This accommodation was the best out of our UK 3 week stay.

The hotel charges you £8/ night for parking. This is expensive, the Long Stay carpark is a 5 minute walk away and costs £6.30/ 24 hours which is longer than you'll get with the hotel if you check-in from 3pm. We found it frustrating that considering we visited off season, we weren't allowed to leave our car beyond 1pm....despite check-ins being from 3pm. It felt like an unnecessary expense and slightly tarnished our stay. Be warned - half the car park is accessed through a very narrow gap between two walls - our Golf went through no issue but if you've got a much larger vehicle, you won't stand a chance of getting in it..! Our room was sold as having a sea view and a terrace. This felt misleading as the sea view was out of tilted windows or knee high windows. The terrace was shared and not directly accessed from the room, this was not made clear in the room listing.

The location at the top of Port Isaac was great, it was easy to find...and the best bit was falling asleep listening to the sea. The bed was also extremely comfortable! The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be.

The hotel was loverly the staff were freimdly great always smiling and very helpful room was immaculate food was exceptional nothing was to much trouble brocoli soup has to be the best soup I've ever had and the crab starter was excellent location is perfect views are out of this world we stayed an extra night we would of stayed longer if it wasn't for work commitments we didn't want to leave it is absolutely beautiful everything you want in life peaceful no drama nature loverly walks just tranquil
