Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

NigeriaThe kitchen was not so spacious as it could hardly accommodate two people comfortably. We could not watch the variety of Tv channels that we would have loved to watch due to restrictions. The garden needs to be cleaned up and protected from influx of foxes and other non-domestic animals.
The ambiance was nice with good connecting roads from the connecting points. The house is well maintained and neat. The proper was well lighted and had all the necessary items to keep the apartment clean.

I stayed at the perch with my brother for a week and I couldn't have asked for anything else. Beautiful family oriented place, 3 bedrooms and 2 reception rooms all to ourselves, nice garden in the back, WIFI, Virgin TV with enough channels to watch, onsite parking and free off street parking, pub was 5 mins walk away, petrol station was 6 minutes drive from there. My brother that came from Arizona really liked the place. Would definitely recommend.

NetherlandsNot very welcoming to enter a house with the temperature of only 13 C in this time of the year. Due to the temperature the chairs and couch even felt damp. Coming in after a day of pooring rain, soaking wet and then try to warm up...And in all rooms warnings / posters with instructions what to do / not to do and additional charges / fees applicable if you do not fullfill all the requirements. Max. of 5 pounds allowed for daily use of electricity otherwise applicable charges applicable. Makes you think about every shower, using the central heating etc. Doesn't make you feel at home. Furthermore not enough glasses etc in the kitchen available and glasses /cutlery were dirty, we had to do some dishwashing before we could use the stuff.
Location is about 15 min walk from trainstation and within 40 min in centre of Londen. Kitchen equipped with oven and mictrowave. 3 bedrooms, very convenient when you travel with children.
