Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsShared bathroom is very small. The building is quite noisy, you can hear people coming and going and using the bathroom (even though that was on the other side of the landing).
Very nice room with super comfortable bed. Great location, with several nice pubs and restaurants nearby and excellent connection to the city center. I would definitely try to book this accommodation again for my next visit to London.

United KingdomThe dilapidated building isn't very "prestigious" as the name implies. The interior is acceptable but the vista out back is rather grim. Another absolutely classic "is this for real or is it a scam" booking.com listing that seem to be all too common these days (it's giving slumlord housing property that has been flipped to make more profit as a hotel). Fortunately it is at least legit, although the host's insistance on referring to the street name as "Revan Row" at every opportunity does not initially fill you with confidence. The address on Google maps shows "Raven Row" as the street name. I contacted the host to query this, just to make sure I had the correct address and they (promptly) confirmed that the street name was "Revan Row". It is not. The street name is Raven Row. Just in case you missed it in the description - the rooms are NOT en suite. Not necessarily an issue but you are potentially opening up a can of worms for the hell of other people's weird grossness. The bathroom was initially clean when I checked in but when I returned in the evening there was a 2 litre bottle of what looked like green algae-rich pond water lying on it's side in the shower, an unflushed toilet and a hand soap refill pouch and had been left on it's side and gone everywhere. This obviously isn't the hosts fault but I feel bad for their cleaner. I've stayed in many a hostel where there was far more respect shown to shared spaces. Maybe I was just unlucky. Overall it's "fine" and you get what you pay for.
The location is convenient for central London and the price is reasonable for what it is. The room was clean.

The hosts were great, I arrived early and wanted to drop my suitcase off and they were more than accommodating, allowing me to enter my room early to drop my things. The bed was super comfortable. The decor is modern. The location is great for jumping on the tubes. Good value for money.

PolandThe water in the bathroom in the morning after 9 am was freezing. We could hear people from different rooms and the corridor in our room. There were glasses and a glass bottle but no water or place to take water from. There was no mirror in the room.
Everything was clear. We could control the temperature of the room. There were hangers and light switch by the bed.

United KingdomI have never felt so grossed out! Where to start... - dodgy, shabby building without a sign - the stench of bins all around - dirt and rubbish on the floor in the entryway - urin and pubic hair on the toilet seat - bathrooms so filthy that I kept my sandals on in the shower - the tiniest of rooms without any option to store your clothes (no cupboard, no shelf, not even a coat hanger) - kitchen dodgy and filthy - if you do end up preparing food, there is nowhere to eat it (no table or dining area and not even a chair in the room)
Nothing, really

PolandWe were supposed to stay there for 5 nights but barely managed to last just one. The photos don’t reflect what this place really looks like. Everything creaks, you can hear what the neighbors are doing, and since it’s next to a large hospital, ambulances are passing by all the time, making it hard to sleep. On top of that, the smell is unbearable. The shared bathroom also turned out to be a challenge due to other guests’ habits. Communication with the staff was fine, but of course, they had no intention of finding a solution. My recommendation – avoid this place. The property is in a terrible condition.
Overall, I didn’t like anything. The only positive is the proximity to the metro station, which offers many different connections, making it easy to get to other districts.
