United KingdomThe staff at the Ragged Robin were excellent, so helpful. We had an issue with occupants of an adjacent room and when we mentioned this to the staff they went above and beyond to ensure the issue was resolved and that we are satisfied with the outcome. The waiting staff were also very attentive. Well done to all!! A plate of treats and a handwritten letter of welcome on arrival was a lovely touch.

United KingdomBreakfast was from a menu, meaning you only got one choice from various cooked breakfasts, or lighter options such as yogurt, fruit and porridge. No options for juices, and I wasn't offered tea or coffee included so I chose a flat white of the breakfast menu only to be told I had to pay £3.65 for it. The veggie breakfast was small but tasty, I think at £200 per room and the amount saved by not laying on options at breakfast, they could stretch to a nice coffee for their guests or at least offer a standard coffee or tea when taking an order.
The room was delightful, beautifully decorated with everything you would need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and quiet. Lots of parking available and a lovely garden backed by the river Wey.

United KingdomWhen I made the reservation on booking.com, i expected a welcome email and that would be it. But no, I had three emails to tell me to check in on line (which i felt was excessive) and then I had to provide my ID. Why do I need to give my passport details to book a damn hotel room? Intrusive. Then the emails directing me to download their app intimating we wouldn't be given hotel keys just use the app. Too much faff. Keep check -in personal and simple please. But get past that nonsense, and stay because you'll love it. We're looking forward to returning.
The attention to detail across this establishment is outstanding. The built form and presentation upgrade are first class. The staff are all pleasant and welcoming and very professional. The food, we stayed there for dinner, was superb. The room was beautiful and complete with welcome treats for us and our small dog. Really attractive room, with lovely finishes and stylish comfortable bathroom. We were seriously blown away by the quality inside and out of this hotel.
