Perhaps an additional vegetarian/vegan option for evening meal? Didn't spoil our enjoyment of our break though!

Breakfast was lovely and good sized portions. Requested alterations to standard menu were happily catered for.

Adverse points: wifi patchy both in the pub and the room, and probably my biggest gripe the bar prices were extortionate - £38 for 3 medium glasses of average wine....

Location great for Duxford, extremely pleasant staff they were very helpful. Food was good at dinner and I imagine breakfast would have been as well but we had to leave before it started.

WiFi was a bit sketchy in the room (fine in the Hotel building) - but I suppose that's to be expected in a small village.

I couldn't believe how friendly and welcoming the staff were! And the food: Breakfast and Dinner was superb. Also, great rural walks around Hinxton using designated pathways.

The tiniest TV I have ever seen, Wouldn't hurt to update them. No Slip Mat for the bath, although heating was on until late at night, a warmer duvet would have have been nice. Indoor bar is quite small and noisy, no doubt beer garden is perfect in the summer.

The Staff, especially James, were excellent as Showing us our room / Front of House / Taking Orders, he was all over the place. Food for Dinner and Freshly Cooked Breakfast (Included) no complaints. Very quiet, might be time of year though looks like in the summer it will have a lot of Guests outdoor in the Garden. Great standard of Decoration. Perfect for visiting Duxford Museum

Breakfast, mushrooms dry and overcooked, as was the sausage. Poached egg over done. Blinds on the windows have a gap at the bottom of an inch or so, letting in light. Wall of the rooms are thin you can hear other guests.

Service was great. Food was super in the evening. Service little slow if the restaurant is busy. Nice range of cask ales. Tom in the annex at the back ate great.

For people who are not fans of bars and alcohol in general, might not be good. But can enjoy your food outside if the weather is nice. Slippery bathroom (the tub). The rooms are not that spacious, at least mine wasn't.

The cottages are really nice - inside and out. Good to those who came for a conference held in Hinxton conference center. You can go to the conference center just in 5 minutes through the gate. Need to press the button and explain to the security where you are going. The hotel is the only place nearby which serves food, especially in the evenings. Fish and chips was delicious. Breakfast was very nice too.
