Poor breakfast on offer and ridiculously cheap. Decent breakfasts cost £13 to put on properly and it’s not included in the stay so it’s a choice and so this hopefully changes.

Lovely traditional village pub with friendly staff

Nowhere to put a towel ready to use in the shower room eg a chair or stool, It is NOT hygienic having to put a towel on the floor! Very noisy from the party downstairs until midnight

There was a gap in our door where the panels had shrunk which was onto the outside. It was ok in the summer but would be draughty in the winter.

You have to pay for breakfast. At the price they charge, you would expect breakfast at no extra cost

The location was very good and there was plenty of parking. Because there was street food van there, the day we got there meant you could not have a meal at the pub. My mother is elderly and did not like what the street food van had so she could not have food at the pub and I had to take her to another place to eat.

They put us in a smoking room adapted to a room for travellers with a small dog. The smell was really intense and I also paid extra for the dog, which is something that normally doesn’t bother me but this time really got me. The food was very poop and dinner expensive too compared to quality of food.

The location was fine for the purpose of our journey but there weren’t anything else but this property around so very difficult find other place where to eat or buy something. The village is very small indeed. The breakfast wasn’t the best, really poor but fair to the price paid for it which is not included in the booking.

This is a minor point but the window latch was damaged making it difficult to open and leave on the latch to allow fresh air into the room on a hot day.

The location was convenient for local atractions and the Full English breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. We had a lovely stay and are looking forward to visiting again.

The pub food was good and the beer was a good price, the beer garden was very good. The pub itself was as expected but the noise was minimal, there is a church bell but didn't wake us up thro the night, the most important part of any business is its staff and a huge shout out goes to Adelle who's people skills are excellent and not forgetting Carol the cleaner. All in all, we enjoyed our short 3 night stay and would stay again without hesitation.

The room could do with a bit of TLC - it was clean enough but a bit dusty, needed some little repairs, and it felt somewhat cramped (could only open 1 of the 2 cupboard doors because of other furniture).

Very cheerful and friendly staff, comfortable (though creaky) bed, accessible room & shower, and a patio door opened directly to the outside area.

we were disappointed with the breakfast, as we could not have this before 10am. Also, my husband felt the 'full English breakfast' was meagre and they had no breakfast cereal. I enjoyed the scrambled egg on toast, but at £6.95 thought it a bit pricey. The pub bar and lounge could certainly do with a make over. The staff
