I had no hot water for the shower .

I didn't eat here so I cannot comment on the food, I stayed for one night and the room was clean and modern .

Communication beforehand was difficult : and no check in possible till 2 pm ( I had a midday function locally to attend) All in all decent tho…..certainly for my needs thanks.

Very cheap room for these parts: clean enough, comfee bed good shower and perfect for my simple needs. Nice Indian meal in restaurant.

Very old accommodation that wouldn’t suit if you like modern, but despite that very clean, perfect non busy location, plenty of parking, helpful staff and restaurant on site .

Nothing really, few marks on walls

Great all round stay. Room great for £60. Very comfy beds , clean bathroom and bedroom. Some marks on walls but didnt detracked from our stay. Would stay again.

It was near a busy road so not as quiet as I'd like and no breakfast option for a remote location with a restaurant wasn't great.

No one there to check is in and room was on a code lock rather than a key. Lovely food in the restaurant but would have been a nice touch of as hotel guests we could have been offered a discount.

Cleaner areas outside of the rooms on the walk up

Clean room, beds were comfortable enough, great little place for a quick stopover before a wedding. From the reviews we weren’t sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The birds were having a wild time outside which was lovely to hear for us. Gutted we didn’t get to try out the restaurant, maybe next time!

would have preferred to have had breakfast on site. it was not a mjor problem as I easliy found breakfast in Easingwold.

it was all just a bit tired. would benefit from a lick of paint and some new windows, currently single glazed. It was a warm day, so didn't really matter, but if cold, I could imagine it would make the room cold. Directly outside could do with a good tidy up too, as you look out onto the car park at the back of the restaurant, and it was a tad smelly with the window open.

Lovely welcome from the staff at the restaurant. Told where the room was, and upon entering, we found the room very basic, a little tired, but on the whole, clean and comfortable.

Carpet in hallways appeared stained and worn.

This was a budget room. Therefore for the money I thought it was good. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

The hairdryer didn't work. Could have gone with glass for water. Only kitchenette facility was microwave next to printer in the hallway.

Hangers for clothing, room reasonable size. Room was at the back so coming from London the noise from A19 was minimal compared to where I live. Staff were friendly.

Unfortunately the residents in the adjacent bedroom seemed to be having a domestic dispute and there was constant slamming of doors between 10pm and 3pm. I can only assume that they vacated the premises through the night as there was no further noise and they weren't there early morning. This incident spoilt our nights sleep and marred our stay.

More than adequate for our needs plus on site restaurant to which we availed ourselves too. The meals were excellent and more than ample.
