The room was boiling hot, we had both windows open all night with fan on full all night.. wasn't sure why it was so hot. We stayed when it was only 16 degrees outside, wouldn't like to stay in the peak of summer.

Great value for money, had tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Our TV constantly lost signal making everything impossible to watch. Thought I was getting 2 slices of toast (ordered rack of toast stating 2 slices) but I only received 1. Toilet outlet pipe and skirting boards covered with thick dust.

Food was lovely, plenty of options on the breakfast menu, rooms were perfect size. The waitress serving the breakfast in the morning was lovely. Highly recommend the place 😊

Steep stairs to bedroom and steps down immediately into room from door.

View from room was disappointing in that it looked out on waste land as opposed to the river view on other aspects of the building. Pub was very noisy, but noise didn't disturb the room

The breakfast was excellent. Cereals, coffee and full cooked English breakfast with toast and marmalade for £10. Excellent value.

The staircase was steep......ask for rooms 6+ for a wider stairs (my 70 yr old dad struggled). The beds where very narrow (my dad's not the slimmest)

Staff were friendly. We ate in the pub and the food was very good. The room was quiet and comfortable.

Too near the main road ( noise ) Facilities very dated, and not clean. Dining area poor, does not cater for a good dining experiance which is a shame as the food was good. Not enough staff to keep up to customers satisfactions. Would not stay here again.

The only disadvantage was how steep the steps were to the rooms, we booked this room for my mother in law & nan & we did have to provide a lot of help to get them to their room with their bags because it was a tripping hazard & couple potentially be dangerous if someone has been drinking at the bar.

I loved the atmosphere of the bar & the service was brilliant. We were offered help to take our luggage to the rooms.

The staff were fantastic!! Very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean. Being above a pub it was a bit noisy until late in the evening. Also at 2am this morning someone was making a lot of noise near my room. The location is beautiful, stayed 1 night as running the Boston marathon.

Location is ideal for the work we have in Lincolnshire. Staff are great and friendly, food is really good nice to stay somewhere with a bit of atmosphere in the evenings. Rooms are clean and, comfortable. We will be using this for all of our work away jobs in the area.

I would have liked if the listing mentioned you needed to always walk through the bar to get to your room.

I liked the location but that is a personal preference due to my family living near by. The bed was comfortable and it was clean.

We had room no: 1. Don't stay here if you are after a riverside view. However, Great value for the price. Good food and friendly staff was a bonus.

Room didn’t have a mirror to get ready but they gave me an extension lead. Heating didn’t work but then woman moved thermostat - bathroom heater never worked. Would have been nice to have option of a breakfast even if it was help yourself to toast etc. car park not big and partner experienced some kind of fight / commotion in the bar.

Good location, decent price, comfy bed, liked that were able to come and go through the pub as we pleased.
