There is little not like, however there are no shops , bars or restaurants within walking distance. 9k is the nearest and it's a lot safer to drive as there are no pavements. I ran it one day and it was beautiful, but didn't feel to safe without pavements .

A wonderful place, spotless with great attention to detail and a feeling of quality, does not feel like a rental property, more like a friend's guest room. The loudest noise was the ticking clock and a fly buzzing, so we took the battery out the clock, the fly wasn't so lucky .. Tranquil with lovely big windows to enjoy the lovely natural scenery . Highly recommend the roundhouse for a peaceful chilling break. Dunkeld is a lovely historic town , nearby Aberfeldy is also nice (out of the centre) with lots of walks to be found all around.

The management company (not the owners or their cleaner!) are pretty rude and aggressive in the way they communicate. Quite shockingly so actually. The room doesn’t get completely dark as there is a small window in the roof which you can’t shade. If you’re sensitive to this, I’d recommend an eye mask if you’re staying in the summer and want to sleep in. For a longer stay you are slightly lacking a washing machine if you are taking advantage of cycling, munros, and swimming as we were.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Roundhouse. The room feels lovely and spacious and is kitted out to a very nice standard. The kitchen is fitted with a good dishwasher and the kitchen items, crockery etc, are nice to use and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. They had the basics such as dishwasher tabs and hand soap, but as other people mentioned no coffee/ tea etc. This didn’t bother us as prefer our own choice there anyway. The bathroom is great, such a large shower with great water pressure. The views from the floor to ceiling windows are so special. We spent a lot of time in the long evenings sitting in the garden, gazing down the valley watching the light change. You really feel that it is private there as although there are a couple of farm buildings around, you’re not overlooked, and nobody passes by the windows. The bed is comfortable, and we slept very well. Location is great, being just a short drive from Dunkeld and a little further to Loch Tay.

A small coffee machine would make the wonderful kitchen even more complete

We really enjoyed our stay at the Roundhouse, it had everything you might need for self-catering and was very comfortable and clean. A particularly highlight was the bathroom with a huge bath and shower. While there are two properties next door, it did not feel overlooked and the views from the big windows and outside patio were lovely.

The location was fantastic as well as the accommodation itself. We loved the view from every window and going for a wander on the grounds of the farm to look at the deer and highland cows. After a day of walking around Dunkeld it was so nice to come back and relax while watching the deer on the hills. The host was on hand and very accommodating.

Disappointed that there was no dishwasher tablets despite being asked to use said dishwasher! Also, most properties provide at least tea, coffee and milk to start your stay. There was a distinct absence of a welcome pack.

Beautiful location. Great walks around estate for dog. Very comfortable interior. Lovely and clean.
