Lack of guests and staff. This place is good but perhaps expensive compared to the competition. I think it needs to fill the hotel then increase prices to where they are now.

The property was very dated and in need of updating. Needs new shower head as only trickled out and the hot tap in sink needs new washer. Also carpet in places was very threadbare on staircase and needs replacing. Dining area was soleless.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the bed was comfortable. The location was very good.

It's needing a little up dating. Mirror would be handy so as you could see your outfit the only mirror was in the bathroom. We could not open a window so room was quite stuffy.

It was very good plenty of choice it suited our taste.

Firstly, despite a large walk-in shower, the electric shower was hopeless, had no pressure and very little water spray, not enough to wash my hair (female). Even the flushing water was generated electrically so it was a very noisy pump. Secondly There was no toilet paper holder so they just sat loosely on the radiator! Thirdly, being in the attic, the window was tiny and cannot be adjusted. It was permanently 3/4 open and on a warm night, very uncomfortable. Lastly, the bathroom door opens into the bedroom and touches the bed. I've managed to knock my husband's foot several times. Believe from other reviews, avoid booking the attic rooms. Also breakfast was served between 7-9am only. Too early for us!

Location into town and easy access to restaurants and supermarkets. Our deluxe King room had a super large comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Bath towels were very large and thick. WiFi connection was very good despite the fact we were in the attic room. Tea& coffee and kettle plus ironing board in the room too. Big walk-in shower and plenty of parking on site for free. As we stayed a week, parking for a hired car is very important and many hotels didn't have on site parking.

There was no plug in the sink in the bathroom , it was reported on the first day, when we were leaving 5 days later there was still no plug. The water was so hot you could not wash your hands under the hot water tap. You needed the plug to be able to add cold water. The hot water tap was a botch job it was a cold water tap fitted on the hot water which was loose.

Greeted every morning by a very hard working lady, nothing was too much trouble for her. She truly enjoyed her job.

Pillows were big and very firm. Room was very warm. Toilet fan went on too long. Just enough sockets for chargers.

Got back to hotel late one evening to find the door to my room had been left open by cleaning staff. Fortunately no valuables were left in the room.

A well located hotel with good parking Room is a little sparse and basic, although clean enough it felt dated Could be a wee gem with more investment Pleasant enough staff but language barrier a bit frustrating
