Nothing but if I am being too picky, maybe air conditioning in rooms will be great. We had a fan to use on a warm stay though so it’s fine.

Professional and very accommodating and friendly staff esp Liz and the cook/chef (sorry we did not get your name) during the breakfast service. The room is spacious and very clean, beds very comfortable, shower excellent and toiletries were top notch. Location was perfect as very close to the sea..we will definitely go back esp now that we have discovered this piece of royal gem☺️

A lift would really have helped as many guests like us were elderly or disabled. I'd have preferred not to have muzak in the lounge - it made it harder to read and to talk with the constant beat in the background.

Almost everything - food excellent and catered for children, Nice rooms with fans provided. Staff very helpful.

The room was cozy with a very comfortable bed, and a great shower. The breakfast was amazing - good coffee and a great choice of cooked options on offer. The staff, especially at breakfast, were very friendly and welcoming. Good parking and quiet location too.

The only small thing we didn’t like was that the window didn’t open in the bathroom. Very small issue and wouldn’t stop us staying here in the future.

The property was in an excellent location for us and very close to the beach, restaurants/bars and the train station. The receptionist was very welcoming on arrival and the night porter when we returned to the hotel late after our night our. Offered us a jug of water and glasses for the room which was a nice touch. The breakfast team were also very welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a comfortable surroundings. We had a lovely sized room on the 2nd floor and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. A good sized bathroom. Everything was clean. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Slightly dated however it was clean and great value for money

We came here to stay we had tickets for the salt and tarr show. Location was perfect. 2 minute walk from a train station. Beautiful gardens, beach and lake opposite, round the corner from shops restaurants and pubs. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do more for you. Every single staff member I spoke to was polite and made the stay feel so welcoming and personal, I have never had customer service like it. Specifically the man on reception covering nights, young blonde lady receptionist in the day and lady serving breakfast in the morning of departure, breakfast also was exceptional, amazing choice of hot and cold food.

Slightly outdated hotel but was part of its charm. Needed to use the fan as was a hot summers night but it was loud and rickety. My room (11) faced a pub that had live music on until about midnight, but noise doesn't bother me too much.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Great quality sausages and bacon and lots of options. Was great to have the bar for a night cap as well. Bed was super comfy.

The bathroom needs a little TLC. The shower head would not stay up, so u had to hold it. And could do with a bleach round the bath area for the black mould. That's all that was wrong with the room.

The family room was very big which is fab for a family of 4.

There was a distinct dank, damp smell in the bedroom and bathroom. Window did'nt open in bathroom and no extractor fan either. Due to sandflies could'nt get any air through window in bedroom. Pillows uncomfortable but thst is personal choice.

Nice hotel in excellent location. Easy to find. The staff were courteous and helpful. Exceptional breakfast, largest choice ever. Comfortable bar and verandah. Superbly comfortable mattress with lots of room. The shower was lovely, easy to use and adjust.

Toilet too close to the basin. No aircon only a fan.

Interesting walks along the waters edge. Breakfasts were fantastic. Staff were very accommodated and friendly.
