Stunning location, many fantastic walks on the doorstep, amazing views no matter the weather from every room and bedroom. Close to the village but felt you were away from it, really lovely to be greeted by a warm property on entry.

We are not used to cooking on an induction hob, however got by.

The Sheiling was a very comfortable and spacious house for three couples and 3 dogs. It is in a superb location overlooking Loch Earn, stunning views down the Loch and surrounding hills. Great area for walking and a great house for relaxing. Facilities were good for self catering, a home from home.

Freezer didn’t seem to work and owner tried to offer advice, but apparently it had been turned off when house had deep clean and the top plastic cover had broken (not sure if related or not). Not a major issue but missed ice for evening drinks. Living room setup bit awkward for sitting on main sofa and watching tv, as they were at 90deg to each other.

Great location with walks on doorstep and nice views. Plenty of space in the house and nice touch with sauna room downstairs!

Decking area in need of upgrading or at worst treated. It poured all visit which wasnt a problem but gutters overflowed causing flooding outside( think gutters and downpipes need cleaned out possibly caused by leaves from surrounding trees).

Amazing view from the cottage, overlooking the lake, seeing wildlife everywhere around the house and great walks with the dog. The facilities are great, beds are good, kitchen is perfect as it’s big and has everything you need, livingroom is nice and spacious, bedrooms and bathrooms are big and comfy and there’s a nice sauna. Overall 10 out of 10

cooking hob v slow. Outside the furniture needs replacing as it’s all rusty. Attention needs to be made to the wooden balustrade There is a lot of movement and feels like it could break at any moment.

property is fantastic big bedrooms overlooking the loch. living space is large also with a living area with outside balcony and then there is the basement which houses the sauna and utilities no corners have been cut as crockery cutlery and glassware were of decent quality and plentiful so that appropriate use can be made of the dishwasher

A comfortable house for a family get together. Wonderful views and peaceful location. Dog walks from the door. Sheila was an excellent host and responded very quickly to an issue we experienced during the stay.

Just a couple of things The veranda could do with an upgrade by removing the moss and a bit of attention given to the veranda fence We stopped the children from accessing it The other minor point was that the right side of the wardrobe in the en suite room requires a bit of joinery
