Easy to find on the main road short of the Skye Bridge. Possibly some road noise in the front rooms but did not disturb me at all on the side. Limited parking at the hotel but public overflow parking nearby was readily accessible.

Comfortable fresh single room with ensuite and not looking out on to the main road. Thoughtful owners who make a real effort to ensure you have a good stay. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Full marks.

The family room was smaller than in the pictures. I’m glad we redid the luggage so we only brought 1 up and left the rest (3) in the car because there was barely any room for the 1 to open up. We had to stuff backpacks under the bunk beds. The mattresses need replacing as it slopes to the middle and the sides. However, for 1 nigh/ stat when all of sky is fully booked, it works out ok. Not sure the entire family could stay for more than a transient night.

It had a family room availability and the family room with bunkbeds were a good set up for a night’s stay.

Location is ideal to use as a base and spend a couple of days exploring Isle of Sky. Personnel was also kind and took care of us. Although it was mentioned that we should check in by 10pm, the lady in the reception took good care of us and found a way to fulfill our request for later check in. The rooms and amenities themselves were ok

I didn't realise I booked a single bed but that my own fault.

The location is great. The hotel itself is much nicer than the pictures both inside and out. It is fairly basic but clean and ideal for a stop over. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Main road was noisy so had to have windows shut at night

Like an upmarket bunk house. Perfect for my bike trip. Staff were fabulous and helpful. Wish I’d had their breakfast on my last morning, but too early, so went next door-not good

The water pressure was inconsistent sometimes having a shower it would run cold and then later run hot again which makes Shamblin quite difficult. Sometimes in the sink the water stopped running at all again making usage difficult.

It was in a really good position and we booked the largest bedroom so it was fairly spacious and comfortable

Very little room for packing. There is a 4-person-room with a little tea-corner and packing area. I would suggest more storage places (shelves, hooks...).

The hotel is right above a pub which I didn't remember reading, but they close at 10pm, so the noise doesn't continue too late. The kiddo was able to get to sleep before then, and that's what mattered. Overall a great property.

The hosts were welcoming and the location is convenient for both Skye and the other lovely surrounding towns. The room was comfortable and the tea and coffee were appreciated. The breakfast was good.

For the single room I booked; the bathroom wasn't an ensuite but across the hall so you had to leave your room and unlock it to access it which was a bit of a pain

The staff were lovely and it's a good location for easy access to the Isle of Skye. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. It's a good, simple hotel.
