It was the day before my wedding, my groomen and i stayed for the night. The cottage was expeptional, and we were greeted with a box of chocolates and a note saying congratulations. What a thoughtful touch. We checked out a little late, but that wasn't an issue to our hosts. They gave us all the time we needed. Such a beautiful cottage, in a beautiful location with amazing hosts. 10 out of 10, it's a must for anyone wanting a gorgeuos getaway. Thank you.

We had a great stay in The Smithy - a lovey cottage in a beautiful area, close to Ludlow and Hereford. The cottage itself was clean and well-maintained. Had a small garden (not enclosed and partly shared with neighbouring property). There was a little area down by the river that had garden furniture - our dog loved to swim in the river! There are plenty of walks from the property, only a few minutes to Bodenham Lake Nature Reserve and also the local pub!

A joy of a place. For me, a nature loving and ever curious human, I adored the living museum of a building and the tranquility of the garden and surroundings. Other reviews have covered the greatness of all creature comforts, cleanliness, and friendly host - and I agree with them.

We liked everything, including the 10 minute walk to the pub.

Sadly, we arrived in the evening and left the following morning and wished we had stayed for a few days. The location is perfect, just outside a beautiful village with a lovely old pub. Our cottage was lovely with lots of character and with garden furniture on the riverbank. We saw lots of public footpaths around the area, so is perfect for walkers. We hope to visit again.

    Nothing

Although we only spent a few hours during an overnight stopover, Salma, the host, was very responsive and available for any queries. The location is idyllic, and the converted barn was a fabulous little cottage. We wished we had longer to explore the surroundings.

Nothing, the accommodation was truly perfect but do check for roadworks nearby as a diversion had us going around in circles for 90 minutes. :(

What a delightful cottage! Quirky but still cute and cosy. It was bigger than I expected. The bed was also super comfy too. Plenty of space for parking too.

    All good.

We travelled from Wales for our little dog to have cataract operation and booked into the Smithy for a one night stay. We couldn't have picked a better place with wildlife, river and village atmosphere. Perfect place to chill. The owner was in contact prior so that our needs were met and even gave us the option of checking in earlier. Met the owner on one of our walks to the river otherwise we were left alone but could have contact at anytime.. Very clean and little extras thought of I.e. torch in bedside cupboard. If we ever go to Leominster again, I know where my husband and I would want to stay.
