Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe oven wasn't the best.
The grounds of the accommodation are great. My kids loved feeding the animals and playing with the treehouse and trampoline. We all loved the hot tub.The grounds are beautiful and the accommodation has so many utensils etc which makes it so easy to travel to. The accommodation is walking distance to the local village and 10 minutes from the beach. We would love to go back.

Lovely place and setting. We found it comfortable, equipped with everything needed. We enjoyed the view overlooking the garden, the pond, and the animals. Helpful hosts as well. Great place for people with a young family.

United KingdomThe mattresses were a little uncomfortable for us, this could have been an issue if we were staying more than 1 night.
The grounds were beautiful. My daughter absolutely loved the rope-swing, the trampoline and feeding the goats and sheep! The accommodation was perfect for our 1 night stay. Although the host was away Astrid was great with communication via message before we arrived. We would definitely stay again!

United KingdomIt is very closely situated next to the main house which it doesn’t say in the description and the garden actually belongs to the house. It made us feel a little uncomfortable and as if we were being watched so didn’t relax as much as we would have if the garden was separate.
Lovely property with a great garden and terrace area Leaving food for the children to feed the animals was lovely and the kids had great fun doing it.

United KingdomIt wasn't stated online that the owners house is looking right at you. It was a lot of money for a two night stay and not the cleanest. There was many cobwebs, dirty skirting boards etc. The beds were really unfortunate and the bunk beds were like planks of wood. The oven wasn't the best & things were dates, odd or old. There was only 4 plates when the property held 6 people! I think some TLC could have gone into it for the price you pay.

United KingdomHot tub is not private so we felt uncomfortable using. The bedroom layout is good for a family. I wouldn’t say it’s a couples destination. Lack Of lamps so either stark lighting or slightly too dim fairy lights.
Good location, lovely surroundings. Garden is stunning, the goats are quirky.

United KingdomIf I had to pick anything, it would just be that the mattresses are a bit uncomfortable and it would be nice to have a few lamps as the main lights are very bright.
The location was lovely and the property was nice and clean - and I'm quite fussy! Everything worked as it should and the owners were quick to answer any questions we had via the messaging service. The goats and sheep were great, my son loved feeding them and the hot tub was just what we needed.

United KingdomThe main bed in the kids room could be more comfortable and should ideally have bed aide tables. Also the lighting is too bright and while dimmable lights are great the cheaper option can be placing some table lamps in the living room But overall the property is really good
Space especially the outside space.

United KingdomThe owners house is close but I guess they can’t help that! We did not feel intruded on in any way
Location was great, close to a town and walkable pubs but felt peaceful. It was a quirky place with really fab gardens and hot tub. The house itself was cute, warm And clean and perfect for three of us. Unlike other reviewers we didn’t see the owners, which was fine with us as we had clear instructions sent to us the day before.

United KingdomThe location of the property is too open and close to those of the owners as they share the same grounds. This creates a feeling of a lack of privacy. The wi-fi was erratic and weak and the property lacked an iron and ironing board.
Great location. The property is situated on beautiful grounds that is well looked after. It has been set up to cater for children and animals, so perfect for those with young ones and pets. The owners were friendly, helpful, and not intrusive.

United KingdomThe stables is part of a larger property as others suggested and the hosts are very close by. They were very respectful of our privacy and I did not feel this was an issue as it didn’t impact our stay at all, however, if you are looking for complete privacy another choice may be more suitable.

United KingdomOnly minor niggle was the hot tub had too many chemicals so we couldnt run the jets without watery eyes or a cough. But without the jets on it was very comfortable and warm to sit in.
This is a beautiful converted stable with excellent surroundings. You have your own space, and the garden area has a playhouse and sandpit our children thoroughly enjoyed. There are goats and sheep that they loved watching, as well as the fish pond with a fantastic little touch of a box of fish food they throw in the pond. Once they were asleep we were able to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden and hot tub. Beautiful location, excellent accommodation.

Set in absolutely beautiful gardens, which are well maintained. Had lots of things for my daughter to do for example, sandpit, rope swing, trampoline, feeding the goats, sheep and fish. Never felt overlooked and were left to our own devices. Only stayed 2 nights but it was nice to get away and have a relaxing time.
