Nothing place was fantastic

The basket of fresh food and drink was exceptional and fresh butter milk pancakes made fresh daily when you return back.

What a lovely place ! You can feel the warm welcome from the owner.. Very clean and compact. Fridge and basket filled with delicious , homemade products. I would love to stay again.

There wasn't a thing we didn't like.

Very nice little place. The owner ment us out side, Very happy and friendly. The breakfast provided was absolutely gorgeous. Homemade pancakes left at our door first thing in the morning. Eggs mike butter, jam fresh fruit, fresh homemade cream. Bread orange juice, porridge.buns biscuits. Definitely was not expecting any of this. Would definitely stay again. And plan to do so soon.

Our stay was very brief. Nothing not to like. I think the driveway is a new addition and could do with a wider entrance, but this didn't in any way affect our stay.

Pretty and tranquil location set not far from East Belfast. Clearly a lot of love had been put into the apartments and layout (we rented both apartments, one for my wife and I and the other for our parents, with two dogs thrown in). Breakfast was provided and left in fridge and nicely wrapped on table so that it was there on arrival. There was plenty of quality, home-made produce including fresh seasonal fruit as well as a variety of other foodstuffs. It didn't need to be this nice and made our stay extra-special. There was an area near to the apartment where our dogs could toilet and have a run-around which was appreciated (especially since the weather was touch and go).

I don't think anything could have been improved!

Really lovely location in the countryside with great views of Loch Strangford. Dog friendly. Very comfortable. In particular the host left a bunch of treats and breakfast goods including home-made pancakes which were really delicious. Extremely good value. We would definitely stay again.

My only regret is I didn't book a longer stay! We loved our stay here and can't wait to come back!

The stables is what you call five star accommodation, if is set on a beautiful countryside location, quiet and safe. Has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing and truly wholesome stay. The homemade produce from the breakfast basket to the fridge was a wonderful surprise and absolutely delicious. To top it off, if is dog friendly!

Welcoming and thoughtful hosts. Lovely,bijou accommodation in a tranquil location with great views over the countryside to Strangford Lough. Robena provided splendid breakfast goods and also ice lollies on a very hot day.

Nothing at all all perfect.

Host messaged me on the day to check my arrival time, the property was very easy to find and well signposted. Such a beautiful area. I was met by both of them on arrival and they were very welcoming and friendly, beautiful fresh flowers put in the room and she showed me the breakfast basket for next day, wow I was very impressed at how much effort was put in for my 1 night stay. And she let me know the best dog friendly places to eat around the area. I opted for Daft Eddy's which was stunning and very friendly and welcoming. The dogs loved it here too and plenty places for toilet break - lovely patches of grass at back door of property or behind the stables. Bed was very comfortable and comfortable pillows. Lovely pictures of horses in the room you can tell they are animal lovers.

We were in the area for a dog show. I made the reservation with some hesitation, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was spotlessly clean, and the host was incredibly warm and helpful in every way. The weather wasn’t on our side, but Rabena did everything she could to let us check in early. Breakfast was fantastic – everything fresh, and the homemade pancakes with orange marmalade were simply a taste of heaven. If we’re ever back in the area for another show, this will be the first place I book. Highly recommended!

Nothing!

This was my first time staying at the Stables at Ballygraffan and hopefully will be the first of many visits. I loved the place. A very quiet location with parking right outside. I was welcomed by Robena who explained everything and offered to provide anything I needed. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, orange juice and eggs were all provided plus a homemade treat called "fifteens" which I had never had before but which are absolutely delicious! I stayed in Maurice's stable which was beautifully refurbished in a contemporary style. It was very clean and bright with a really comfortable bed and a very clean en-suite shower and bathroom. Having walked my two dogs down a quiet lane/driveway in the evening, all of us were ready for a good nights sleep, this we definitely had! This is a super place to stay with perfect facilities, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Could do with a shelf in the bathroom.

Breakfast was excellent. Gluten free home baking was an added bonus. Great views of Strangford Lough from window. Will definitely stay again.
