Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWiFi although it shows, the signal was very weak and non existent for the entirety of our stay. We ended up using our Data, which to be honest when we are on a trip and need to Upload/ Download photos, videos etc could be expensive. Considering WiFi as a basic necessity, I would reduce some points for that. Also the Sofa bed for the 6th person was not comfy, but we managed.
Carol was really friendly and helpful and answered all our questions and explained us about the property, surroundings, the Stable, where to eat, buy etc. She showed us around and also came to say Bye before we checked out. The house was decent with size enough for a 5-6 people stay. Carol provided all basic necessities in the Kitchen with Coffee, Tea, Jam etc. Location was excellent, very near to The Junction Shopping Complex and so we could easily go out to have food/ buy groceries etc. Excellent Value for Money for the price we paid.

FranceCharming and cosy, very quiet despite its location nearby a larger road. Convenient if on your way fro/to the international airport. Beds were comfy and there was good choice at breakfast.

IrelandThe owner Carol was so kind and helpful to us when we had some car trouble. The flat was lovely and homely, cosy and comfortable couch and beds. Tv, showers, kitchen perfect. Located near a good retail park and a short drive to Belfast to see the sights. I would recommend.

IrelandHad to pay an extra 40 pounds for my wife for 2 nights. I missed putting 1 adult at the time of booking but informed the property well in advance about the second adult. I was told, "That's fine," and didn't mention the extra charges. I think I should have been informed in advance instead of giving news in person on arrival to the property.
An excellent breakfast is available in a large dining room with dining tables. The host confirmed the time of breakfast beforehand. Breakfast is available from 08:30 to 09:30. The bathroom was big enough, but the shower area was small, though enough for a quick shower. The room was clean. Hot was very nice, served us breakfast, and also gave teddy bears to my kids at the time of leaving. Overall, well worth the money and quite close to the Antrim shopping center.

United KingdomNothing to not like
Spacious, extremely clean and the bonus was an exceptional hostess. We arrived during Storm Darragh and unfortunately the majority of the area was without any power. Carol and her son did everything possible to ensure we had heating via a portable gas heater, candles and torches for lighting, plus warm drinks and soup.

HungaryCleanliness did leave something to be desired. The beds are not the most comfortable.
The location is excellent, with the Tube being very close. The self-check-in process worked flawlessly, and the apartment is exceptionally spacious—perfect for 10 people.

United KingdomI mistakenly thought that the accommodation included breakfast, even though it was a B&B and we had booked self-catering. It would be helpful if the website specified that breakfast and self-catering are separate options. However, there are shops a 10-minute walk down the road. The WIFI connectivity could be improved as it was not very strong and kept dropping most of the time.
Great location and good-sized rooms, with lovely hosts.

IrelandThere was a slight confusion that the breakfast would be provided even though its a B&B and we had booked self catering. So it would be better if it would be specified in the website that breakfast and self catering are mutually exclusive. The lady also agreed that they will make the amendments to avoid the confusion for future customers but it was a not issue for us since Lidl was closeby. The WIFI connectivity can be improved since it was not very strong and dropping most of the times.
The location was good to reach by car and the house was clean and tidy with all basic amenities in place with kitchen. The grocery stores like Lidl, ASDA were close by.

CanadaNot a lot of amenities in the area for those traveling without access to own transportation. Not a problem for us but thought worthy of mention.
Everything was fine. Made use of the clothes washer and dryer. The breakfast was nice and filling, and with plenty of options: bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, cereal, toast, fruit.
