Loved the massive living room all the facilities in the kitchen bed was comfortable

Bathroom needed making more up to date.

Lovely location and the owners are really lovely, the house is clean but smells terrible, it's got plenty of seating and a lovely large table for food, the kitchen is very well equipped but the instructions to the oven need to be clearer in simpler terms the manual might as well be in German lol. It's nice to have a bathroom with a bath major plus.

The smell!! It's smells like Body odour mixed with deep set mould it made both my family members ill and I had several headaches as the smell was so overwhelming! It really needs fixing and I hope the owners read this because it is a real problem we are regular visitors but can't return until it's fixed! The beds have a concerning sign on them suggesting you leave the note on the beds if you haven't used them, that's worrying seen as you may not climb into the bed but you may well sit in it or put your case on it I didn't feel very comfortable getting in to them so I washed all our family's beds before we got into them so not ideal, just washing the bedding! I truly hate writing this part of the review because I honestly love this property but they need to spend time to fix these issues.

It's a beautiful building, the actual house is clean inside and the kitchen is well equipped and nicely done. Good location and quiet too

There is an odour that is so powerful it was totally overwhelming it absolutely stank, no amount of air freshener could fix it. To me it smells of Body odour and mould it's really sad everything else is perfect but it is impossible to stay for us anymore, you can see damp everywhere, the windows are full of condensation. They need to fix this issue there is no way you can stay there and not notice it is so thick with the smell it's impossible not too. Please fix it so people can come back as honestly it's worth a visit.

The bathroom is awkwardly placed in between the bedrooms and it could use an extra bathroom.

Excellent location. Very clean and spacious. Exceptional value for money with the 3 bedrooms. Perfect for our family of 5 with 3 kids aged 8 , 6 & 2

A lovely, spacious place with 3 bedrooms, perfect for us and 3 older children. Perfectly placed for visiting our son who lives nearby. There was enough seating both around the projector screen and around the dining table. The.kitchen was small but well equipped. The heating worked very well. I was a bit worried it would be cold being February but it definitely wasn't. It was lovely to hear the birds in the trees in the morning. The beds were also very comfortable.

It is slightly odd that the bathroom is between 2 bedrooms so have to walk through the middle bedroom with 2 single beds to get to the bathroom. This wasn't an issue for us however. Both doors to the bathroom lock from the inside of the bathroom so there are no privacy issues. Just takes a little communication!

Beautiful location, excellent accommodation. Quite and peaceful.

House was nice

Too close to owners house but we didnt see them to be fair, it says pub 150 yds away but it's been shut for 2 yrs, not much to do at all in the area couldn't even get a taxi, there is a small play area for kids outside and that's it, the weather wasn't great while we were there so trying to keep the creamy coloured carpet clean with the kids in an out was a nightmare

Location was excellent. Facilities were top class

Not enough outside light's when returning in the dark.

To be honest pretty much everything was perfect the house was immaculate, well presented, the kitchen was extremely well equipped and everything was perfection standard clean, I personally loved the surround sound system as I am deaf as a post, the area of property is very picturesque. Lovely friendly welcome. Nice to have a big tv and comfy seating which many places lack. Overall fabulous

The only reason for any issue for us was what we considered to be a very late check-in 3pm and seeing as they live next door it seemed odd as when requested earlier check on was refused due to needing to clean it? So basically your paying for a day your not really there for. Similarly for the very early check-out 10am. What I couldn't understand is if you're leaving at 10am and you can't check in until 3pm due to cleaning and they live next door, why isn't it possible to have check in much earlier even if it's 1pm??. That's the only thing that lets it down for us. However still fab overall 🙂
