Great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Good breakfast with plenty of choice for cooked food and a nice choice for pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt etc. Overall, a great stay. Would recommend.

Not within their control, but it was difficult to get a taxi. I had messaged beforehand but didn’t receive anything to tell me it would be difficult. By own poor planning though! I was grateful for a marginally early check-in, had I missed that, I would have been stuck outside from 12pm… so a late key collection service would be a good option

Really nice place to stay. Staff were lovely and the facilities were great. Unfortunately I wasn’t around for long enough to fully experience the surrounding area or the food (but from the breakfast I had, that seems excellent too)

Great restaurant and lovely rooms. Peaceful but near to main roads if breaking a long journey here. We attended a nearby wedding and this was the perfect bolt hole. Excellent breakfast with comprehensive options for cooked and cold. Plenty of parking. Lovely outside area to sit and eat in. Room facilities were great. Very comfortable bed, hot shower and good WiFi if you’re working. Staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Lovely pub/restaurant/hotel. Lovely room with a comfy bed. All very clean and fresh. Fantastic breakfast in the morning and a great range of drinks in the bar. Loved this place.

Was a bit of a smell in garden maybe sewage pit. Was a Sunday so we were unsure if bar closed after restaurant closed.

Very clean, friendly staff but. Not too much fussing which was perfect. Decor was modern and in keeping with age of property. Coffee machine nice extra

Very limited parking for a busy destination although we were lucky enough to find a space. Room was small but full of character and well equipped, nice shower room . I'm 6ft tall and found the bed a little too small although comfortable..

Wish I could have stayed longer!

Exceptional care and attention by the staff. Ate here for dinner and they found a table in the sheltered area outside, even though we had not booked prior. Food was exceptional. Feather pillows and duvet. Powerful shower. Great breakfast included in the price. Will definitely stay again.

Room was a little small but fine for what we needed. The pillows were feather so a little too flat.

Good location, lovely staff and great breakfast, more choice than usual- freshly baked croissants and fresh fruit was a great touch. Comfy bed, good coffee machine and tea facilities in the room. Shower was great.

Inevitably in a period property the bedrooms were small and we stayed during a heatwave when the duvets and bed linen were far too warm and heavy

C18th buildings aren't designed for 30 degrees and while the fan was welcome, a window that only opened 2 inches wasn't

Breakfast service was a little bit slow, especially as we had filled in the form the night before with timings. But it really didn't bother us at or detract from our experience.

We had a very lovely lunch outside under the canopy next to the river. Delicious food and wine, cooked breakfast was very good too. Room very clean and Bed was very comfortable. All the amenities were great, and very good value for money. Would stay again.

The rooms are small and the bed is just a regular double. Be careful if you are tall as the ceilings are low! Unfortunately, there was no shower gel in the container in the bathroom.

Lovely location and the staff were really helpful and professional. Lovely coffee machine in the room with plenty of choices of tea. The restaurant was excellent with lovely food choices and great service.

Extremely hot bathroom vent fan not working the shower stall ceiling needs attention a trip to the hardware store is required may I suggest a can of Kilz
