It was very noisy. We were on the main rd. there was no toilet roll holder or place to hang the hand towel. No hooks were provided in the bathroom to hang out close whilst we showered. In the restaurant, we witnessed one of the ladies replenishing the bread ,with her hand….she wore no gloves. Consequently, we would not eat the bread. It was not acceptable.there was only one chair provided in our room.

Our room was immaculate. It faced the main rd. we had a view over the golf course.

I thought air con would have been good. The fan was noisy and didn’t really do much. The pillows went a bit flat when you lay on them.

Food was expensive and pretty average with not much choice for a vegetarian. Not enough staff at busy times. Our room door was difficult to shut without banging it!

Nice modern hotel with decent sized rooms. Good bar area if a little small for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good. Good car park.

This is Strictly a constructive comment. Staff looked tired. Poor choice of uniforms. No Name badges. Dinner distinctly average offering ( chick/ham pie tasteless) Disabled access to hotel?? Luminous strip missing from bottom step in car park - handrail loose. Stairs to upper level - narrow, steep - poor handrail - carpet grubby. Receptionist sitting down - no eye contact. More or a lodge than a hotel. Would I stay again - Yes.

Staff friendly. Room exceptionally clean very comfortable bed Zzzzzzzzz. Breakfast exceptional - quality food and wide choice of breakfast.

The temperature control on the shower in the first room was not working so we had cold showers. In the second room the drain from the shower tray could not keep up with the water flow so we had to cut short showering to prevent water overflowing the tray. The hotel offered a one night refund and claim this has been made to booking.com but it has not arrived at my credit card.

The room was clean and well maintained with one exception.There was a problem with the shower in the room and the staff were helpful and explained why the shower could not be fixed that day. We were moved to another room. The hotel offered a partial refund to compensate for the problems we experienced which are detailed below.

Little things - no teaspoon with cups - view from room onto a roof and blind designed to stay down. Could not control heating/cooling in the room. Soap holder did not work over hand basin.

On edge of main road so road noise when window open Room was a tight squeeze with king size bed in a room made for a double and it was very hot

On arrival 50 minutes early after travelling 3.5 hours and husband on crutches asked if the room ready was told yes but £20 ! For early check in,not happy at all with that only being 50mins...... I told her I would wait in the car untill 2,not very understanding of our circumstances

Had an upgrade to executive at no cost which was amazing as requested ground floor as husband had knee op few weeks back

The room was boiling! Even with the window open. Could definitely do with air conditioning and the pillows were far too soft. Woke up with a stiff neck!

The views are nice and not a far drive from the centre of salisbury. Staff were friendly and the room was clean.
