We loved everything

We had a fabulous and very chilled weekend, the cabin was far more than we expected, it was so modern and we loved the open plan, we brought a TV with us as we noticed there wasn't one. Kate was probably our favourite part lol, she was such a friendly little thing, we felt bad on the 2nd night after she had spent hours in thr cabin with us we had to put her outside as we wanted to make sure she got home okay. We would highly recommend the cabin and hope to return again

The cabin was so lovely and cosy and the bed was big and comfortable. Good communication from the host, provided us with extra logs when we asked. Lovely friendly cat visited too.

The setting was really good, relaxing, nice to look at. It's better than the photos. It's raining and colder outside this morning and I didn't need to do the fire. The fire warms the cabin well. The double doors open out to a nice view and you can sit in the sounds of the country side and put a water feature on should you wish. We brought a little portable TV and playstation as there is WiFi and watched a nice move in from of the fire before bed. The bed is really comfy. I have a bad back and woke up refreshed and relaxed and so did my partner. The shower is as good as a shower in your house, well designed and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. Also provided some doggy friendly insight to local dog friendly pubs and walks in the welcome book, nice touch. More of a heads up if you're going to book.We brought something for an oven but there isn't a table top oven, that's our fault for not reading the booklet more thoroughly. The microwave and hob and kettle is really all you need as Thornhill is close by. Thank you for having us and our dog.

Lovely cabin and the log burner was a big bonus. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were excellent. Good communication from and with the host, which made everything much easier.

Very narrow roads leading to cabin, knives could do with a sharpen!

I was looking for a retreat, and the cabin was perfect for it. Clean and cosy, and great to have a log fire for when it got a bit chillier. There's also a lovely outside space for soaking up the sun - and the best part was the company of the resident cat for the week! Excellent service! Will definitely be back.

Lovely quiet and peaceful location, but easy to find local amenities and things to do. Host was lovely and Dog friendly. Massive comfy bed, linen and towels included. Folder with helpful places to visit and eat.

Loved having my breakfast outside on the sunny patio with the countryside view and the birds singing. Spacious but cosy cabin, the bed is huge and very comfy. Friendly and helpful host.

The road leading to the property had deep potholes which we had to drive around. Not the fault of the property, though.

The location was quiet and rural, as advertised. The studio was as expected from the description. A bonus was a friendly rooster and hens, and a very nice cat. The garden was lovely, we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine.

The place is located far from the village of Thornhill where I was meeting people. My hostess gave me a ride on my first morning in, and was available for any assistance. I did get rides from the people I was meeting in Thornhill. Also the room doesn’t have wifi and that posed communication problems with my colleagues. The Studio is best suited for people with a vehicle.

The location was in a pleasant area in the countryside. The scenery was beautiful. The room was clean, orderly and comfortable, as was the bathroom. The kitchen was convenient.

Lovely quiet location, clean & comfortable. Had the feeling that you were in the middle of nowhere, but only 5 minutes from the local town. Loved the visits from the ducks, chickens & the cat.

A bit awkward to have the cooking area and sink in different parts of the property, but as it was only me not such a big problem. I had some really early starts, and at 5:30am the property was a little cold, compared to later in the day when it was well warmed by the sun.

Great location for me, easy to find from the main road. Very clean property, large comfy bed. Superb outdoor space that was perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Nice quiet location, but not too far to walk to local shops, restaurants and pubs.

The microscopic basin was a bit of an issue. It’s really tiny and not to easy for a shave or brushing teeth.

The property is fantastically spacious and well laid out. All the basic amenities are available and in good condition. Loved the fire place and loved the fact that there was no TV and no WiFi. Such awesome freedom to get away from technology. Lovely walks and views.

Bathroom door was broken with no privacy on exiting due to large glass front door, missing blind from main room lead to no privacy and anyone entering the front garden/ property could see straight through to the bedroom area wouldn't think it would be to much of an issue as you would surmise no one you didn't know would be entering but due to my own experience of just exiting the shower to get dressed and behold a delivery driver for the owners I've never been so embarrassed and quickly hid in a corner until he left , if you don't like being awake early please use the ear plugs provided at the property as the rooster will wake you very early doors ,

Cabin/caravan was clean and tidy with all essentials required for your stay
