The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but that's us really clutching at straws for something to write in this box!

The spa is excellent, feels so luxurious and wasn't cramped or crowded and the facilities were amazing. The staff at the spa were so lovely and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked, and we had the best nights sleep we have had in a long time! The staff were all friendly and so helpful. Having access to the leisure facilities included was a great bonus too and we used the pool, steam room, and jacuzzi several times. The breakfast included was also spot on, great choice and nice to have options other than a full English. Again the staff were wonderful.

It was a very busy bank holiday so service was really quite slow at times. Nit very organised so one thing brought to the table & not another. Maybe a bit of staff training needed but appreciate it was a busy time

Amazing location. So easy to walk to tue railway & boat. Gorgeous view over the river. Room was great, very comfortable and clean.

I prefer a softer mattress and I felt the lighting in bathroom wasn't bright enough

Pub waiting times to get a drink - too long. Waiting times at Spa reception - too long. Holte Spa floor (inside) could do with a thorough and deep clean. Spa entrance could do with a sign directing people to the main reception. Younger breakfast staff could do with some further customer service training….

Great location, lovely hotel, plenty of space and great facilities. We loved our bedroom. Overall staff were great - polite and helpful.

Few small issues that added up to small disappointments. Mixed level of satisfaction with staff interactions but they were tremendously busy a lot of the time.

Pool, bed, location, and dining facilities are all really good.

Nothing I didn't like, but room for improvement would be restraunt service during evening meal hitting missy but the staff work really hard just areas of the evening where they come across understaffed.

Restaurant was expensive and service was slow ordered a drink while eating our meal but it didn’t arrive until after we had finished Staff were friendly but they were very busy - overstretched

Food is middling quality. Dinner and breakfast were both disappointing. Spa is basic and water is not very warm.

The room was hot and needs air conditioning. The room would benefit from a mini fridge. The stay was nice but a bit pricey for food.

The Hotel was in a really lovely location and the food was good although the time it took was a bit excessive. Perhaps for children the menu options were a little limited. (The pasta options were more adult taste- a simple spaghetti bolognese would be more suitable). The staff were pleasant and the main decor throughout the hotel is nice. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The local attractions are easy to get to and the walk to Lakeside is worth the effort.

Film of dust on bedroom units - not good. Service at evening meal was slow - had to get up and get own drinks from the bar as they had been sat there for 10 mins. £20 for bowl of pasta wasn’t great value for money - bland and looked to have been re-heated - for that money should have been cooked from fresh. The other meal (cod) however was really good.

Our room could have done with curtains, the shutters didn't close effectively to keep the car lights out from the bridge. Also the windows didn't open far enough and it was way too hot (however, it was an unusually warm few days and it would've been too hot at home also)

Great location, friendly staff and the spa is absolutely fantastic. We've been to the spa before and decided to have an overnight stay and spa as we enjoyed it that much.

The room did not have air conditioning so need to ask prior to booking so you don’t need to endure the hot weather and might ruin your trip.

The restaurant service in the evening was slightly disappointing. Drinks had to be asked for several times and I had to call for my meal. No offence but all the staff seemed very young, with no overall experienced manager. The food was nice though. Outside areas could have done with being cleared more regularly.

Bedrooms were well equipped. Decor was lovely. Wonderful spa facilities. Lovely building in a beautiful location

Aircon should come as standard. We stayed in a heatwave and the room was very hot. Bed was comfortable but pillows could of been bit better

The restaurant has a number of issues , from lack of cutlery when food and drinks arrived, to waiting for food , then finding it's been standing and dried out. Items were missing mainly what's stated on a full breakfast menu or cooked too much if they are there . It's not a good experience food wise.

Location is lovely, facilities are very good, the room was comfy and really quiet for being a large venue.

It was relatively warm and air conditioning didn't work in the room. We opened the window but couldn't work out how to keep the window open and ended up using a can of drink to prop it open. It's fairly pricey not sure totally worth the price. Breakfast was ok, good menu but the wait was quite long and the poached eggs weren't runny.

Room spacious and bed was comfortable. Although we didn't have time to use the spa and gym facilities, they looked good.

In the pub the wine we ordered couldn’t be found , then our second choice of drinks took forever to arrive. Server was apologetic but we had gone up to the bar to try and find out where our drinks were. Then our food arrived some time after people who had arrived and ordered about 10 minutes after us. The restaurant meal was ok but my husband’s pet hate no soup spoons. The people in the room upstairs from us were somewhat noisy and disturbed us moving about. Grout in the bathroom was a bit tired and could do with redoing.

Room comfortable and comfy bed. Would have liked a hook for the hand held shower. Not a fan of rainforest showers. Didn’t bring a shower cap. Breakfast average, have had better and worse. Good selection of cereals etc. Dinner in the pub was tasty. Dinner in the restaurant was ok but expected a more refined experience.
