There is NO private parking and the blurb in their description is misleading. There is pay parking in council car parks. But beware the restricted opening and closing times in the council multi story next door to the inn. No shaver point in the bathroom to plug-in an electric toothbrush. Got an adaptor for £2 from the electrical shop over the road. No food on Sunday evenings after 6pm.

Excellent location, right in the town centre, with very little noise at night from traffic. Staff are lovely, especially the lady who cooks your breakfast to order…. 10/10. Bed was very comfy and the shower was powerful and hot! Very clean room and loved the fresh fruit to help yourself to on the landing.

The room was quite warm and we were unable to turn off the radiator which was on all night. No doubt this will be addressed. The pillows were not as soft as we would like, but that is a personal preference.

Very welcoming. Lovely staff. Nice room, small but perfectly fine. Nice and clean. A little welcome present of clotted cream fudge on the pillow. Good selection and supply of tea/coffee making facilities. Would recommend.

Its location is great for going to the Warph to see live music (do check what's on if you're visiting), wandering around Tavistock, or going up to the moors. Nice old style pub. Breakfast was really good, especially the sausages. Nice staff good clean comfy room with powerful shower.

Great location. Easy and good value parking at the nearby Co op car .A friendly welcome on arrival. Great,comfortable bedroom, with an eclectic range of books. Great coffee machine etc. A range of Toiletries in the room and fruit in the corridor. A good breakfast. A really good stay , and we slept really well. Excellent value for money!

Staff were very accommodating. The room was clean. Good access, although there is no park. Long stay carpark 100yds away with reasonable all day parking. Free overnight from 6 pm to 8 am, secured overnight. Great breakfast. Well, it's worth a stay if visiting Tavistock.

Parking in co op be careful as its £5.20 per day not 24 hours so we got there at 5pm had to pay £5.20 til 6pm! Then another £5.20 from 8am til we checked out! Not the pub's fault but perhaps there are better options in the town they could advise on.

The room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable. The staff made this an exceptional stay. The lady behind the bar in the evening was welcoming and friendly. The young chef in the morning was polite and friendly. This was better than other stays we had who charged considerably more.

The room had everything you could need. It was really clean. The tea and coffee facilities in the room were brilliant. As a herbal tea drinker it was lovely to have a choice and my partner loved having his coffee machine in the bedroom. The breakfast was lovely, really well cooked, didn't expect the cooked option as well as the continental. The staff were brilliant
