    Not applicable.

As a 1550 building it is historically interesting, and our room was clean and comfortable.

Booking.com had not passed on our request for a twin room.

The Three Crowns were not able to get the twin room organised in time for our arrival, and compensated this by providing an additional room. Both rooms were excellent. Staff, menus and food were very good.

Slightly noisy but it was bearable (ventilation outdoor during the day, partitions between rooms a bit thin).

English old fashioned and traditionnal as we had in our imagination 🫶(we are French). Very charming. Huge place in the room (superior category ). Staff very efficient . Easy treks nearby.

There was a lot of noise from the extractor fans on the roof near to our room, which seemed to continue through the night.

Room was very clean with a nicely fitted bathroom and good facilities, plenty of coffee and tea and a very comfortable bed. Friendly and professional staff and an excellent breakfast. We also had a very good meal in the restaurant on the evening of our stay.

The only negative aspect was the noise in the rear outside seating area from the kitchen extract - although we appreciated this was an operational requirement.

The room was large and had all the facilities we needed. Access was easy from the car park at the rear (we had an allocated car space). The restaurant was pleasant and service was good. Food excellent.

Could have had an information pack in the room.

Excellent food. The steak and ale pie with mash was fantastic and full of meat.. in fact, all the food was of excellent quality. Friendly staff and an oldy world feel to all the hotel, gave it character. Good tea and coffee in the room also a good TV. And large comfortable superking bed... not just a double that you get in some hotels.
