Lovely room, cleanliness was exceptional! Bathroom and bedroom were spotless. Bed was super comfy, we had the best nights sleep ever in a pub/hotel. Amazing breakfast, best full english i've ever had. Food was cooked to perfection and the plates were hot too (I have an issue with hot food served on a cold plate) Amazing place, will definitely return. Staff were lovely and friendly too, I really cannot fault this place, it's fabulous!!

Table service for coffee and tea and plain yoghurt as well as the flavoured ones.

The cooked breakfast was great but it would have been even better with table service for the drinks and real coffee. Also, I like plain yoghurt with granola and fruit but there were only flavoured yoghurts.

I expected more of a 'hotel' atmosphere but the public rooms were just a pub.

The room was nice, everything you needed, but it was a little small for the price we paid and it had no bath.

No possibility to have warm snacks or salads before dinner (7:00 pm), so if you arrive early afternoon you can only be oferred nuts or cookies (which I cannot eat as I am gluten allergic - gluten free options not available).

Great location if you like exploring the beautiful nature around, walking in the forest and visit nearby water reservoir - absolutely recommended! Stuff mostly nice, food OK, but nothing exceptional.

The only one thing i can say that we didn't like was 303 was very small and noisy with air con or fans on the roof,which never stopped all night.

The Filipino food on the menu was not good, the curry was just katsu curry and the street food was way too salty and I love a lot of salt, it looks pretty but tasted awful which was a shame. The roast is clearly what to go for and the fish and chips my Dad had were great!

It was like a rabbit warren probably due to old and new buildings. More pub fare than a hotel. Could see why AA had given a 4 star rating.

Unfortunately We didn’t like the location of the room, very hot, noisy motor ( to do with pool?). No view . Would have preferred some paper info rather than just QR codes .

Several short staircases link the different levels, but there is a small lift that connects the same levels. This Inn is also a beautiful wedding venue (in a completely separate part of the hotel), so I do not know if the bar or restaurant service may be a little slower then.

Brilliant location surrounded by Peak District country views. Fascination Hotel & Spa, beautifully and interestingly designed complex of rooms at different levels and beautiful different garden areas. Friendly professional staff. Pub customers separated from restaurant diners. Large car park. Lovely bedroom with ensuite, beautifully decorated and very clean. Country style decor in the restaurant, but the food has a wonderful Asian dinners] a well as British classics.

The rooms were a little dated
