The staff the area awesome, food is very tasty. The entrance from London road was a game changer for me as I could wizz in and out

No lifts unfortunately, I should have checked before booking but that being said that was minor. My room smaller than I'm used to and no fridge.

The location was brilliant; the Pantiles area is full of cafes, restaurants and shops. A musical event took place one night I was there right outside the hotel and I had a "dress circle" view from my 3rd storey window!

It took me a while to adjust to the sloping floor in my room! I'm probably the exception but I'm not a great fan of Nespresso coffee machines and wasted a few pods trying to get the machine to work (no instructions in room)

Gorgeous room overlooking the Pantiles. If you needed anything, the staff were always very obliging. Bed was super comfortable.

Nothing. However, the corridor areas could do with a touch up in the painted areas.

Comfortable and suitable for our trip

The bedroom was very small, but that wasn't much of a problem, but it was several flights of stairs up

    Welcome was good.

The hotel is a bit like a professional sportsperson in the 60s. You can see how good there were, a loooonnnggg time ago, but not now. It is aged. My room was a decent size, but on the 4th floor, up a tiny staircase (i'd hate to have tried lugging a proper suitcase up there). No lift. The bed was an old fashioned job, with a massive footboard, which when you're well over 6ft isn't great, but the pillows were great! It could have done with being a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom, in which the cold water made a weird noise when running. The evening meal was nice, really quick delivery (bit worrying at times), but the food was lovely. Likewise with breakfast, which felt a bit of a rip off (with each item individually priced, so it could get REALLY expensive quickly. Mind it cost me £16 for a brew and a bacon sandwich).

Dirty room and pins on the floor ...hairs in the shower and dust on the hard flooring. Hotel accepted responsibility and apologised but no reduction in the cost

    The location.

Tea making facilities in the room had been there so long it was covered in dust. My room was on the top floor with no lift and 6 flights of stairs to climb. Drinks overpriced as well as the food. Paid £6.50 for a bottle of corona went for a drink next door and it was £4.50 for the same.

Location was fab, very central, bed was comfortable land the staff were friendly enough.

The room was tiny. Musty smell when we entered the room. There's no air con so had to open the window which meant you could hear the traffic and other outside noises. TV reception cut in and out. No lift meant a hike up 4 flights of stairs. Breakfast was chaotic. Ordered toast, tea, a latte and water. After some time, the toast arrived. The latte and tea a long time after by which time the toast was half eaten and cold-the water never arrived. All that for the princely sum of £16?? £187 for 1 night room only is shameful really. I would have explained this when checking out but no one asked me how my stay was.
