The location is superb - right by the beach. The property is very well appointed, and the communication with the host was brilliant. The view of the sea from the upper floor living room is a real pleasure .

On booking.com it said there was allocated parking which there wasn't that's the only complaint. There is a cheap pay and display nearby if you can't find a spot. It's free from 6pm to 8am.

This is a lovely home right on the sea front. It's very clean and comfortable with good facilities. It was good sitting upstairs in the lounge watching the waves crashing. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms have good showers. Kitchen is very well equipped. Heating worked well, we needed it! It's close to pubs, restaurants, shops.

Super cottage located right on the sea front, with lovely views from every room. Everyone had their own bathroom which is a nice luxury. Cozy and comfy with extra thoughtful touches including a welcome hamper and a cupboard stocked with games for all ages. The location in Sheringham, which is a lovely little town with abundant shops and restaurants, can’t be beat!

No allocated parking. At booking, it stated there was parking, but the in house instructions stated there was no allocated parking on the quay outside the property. It recommended after loading/unloading, that the car should be parked in a neighbouring road (none available) or public car park (very close at £8.50/24 hrs). As it was quiet we parked outside the house on the quay without any problem.

Perfect location. Stunning views. Immaculately clean and newly refurbished. Really appreciated 2 x shower rooms plus 3rd WC. Shops and cafes in the immediate vicinity.

The stairs leading to the sitting room and 2 bedrooms were narrow and steep. It was fine for us but might not be suitable for everyone.

Lovely cottage and location with views out to sea. Also close to all amenities and with nice walks all around. In very clean condition when we arrived and very comfortable. Lots to do and explore and a very good range of individual shops, nice pubs and activities on the doorstop. If we were to decide to stay in Sheringham again we would certainly try and book The Wave again.

Bath towels could have been a little bigger but not a show stopper!

Location was perfect. The view was amazing. House very comfortable and well-equipped. Sheringham is a beautiful little place, not too crowded (certainly not in April) and very dog friendly.

It’s not a dislike, but a note. The staircase to the first floor is very steep and shallow, it may not suit someone with mobility issues. Personally we didn’t find them a problem and our small dog managed them well. Just an observation, not a criticism at all.

The location and views are outstanding. Panoramic sea views from the first floor lounge bay window. Sea views from all rooms. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and warm. Everything you need is on site. Special mention to Marie (the agent), who is so helpful and totally went above and beyond. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and has been restored to a high standard. A real credit to the owners.

Maybe a slightly larger TV and one with Freeview as finding internet based TV is a pain,but now I'm being picky.

Great location, lovely property, good communications, plenty of places to eat and drink within easy distance, lots of nice walks,something for everyone, to go to sleep to the sound of the sea, priceless.
