This B&B has a beautiful and charming atmosphere. We were very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and it was clean. The location is close to everywhere we wanted to be, yet very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was incredible and overall we had a great stay.

Everything was perfect, I wouldn't change a thing.

The hotel was perfectly located, close to the station yet not on the main street in Windermere. Hayley and Steve gave us a very warm welcome and were attentive throughout the whole stay. The breakfast service was particularly lovely, with delicious dishes served at the table. I would recommend staying at Jerichos to anyone who wishes to visit the lake district.

I must admit I did not find the bed comfortable at all. Far to soft for my liking and consequently did not get good sleeep

The room was great value for the price we paid. Just a little small with smallish bed - but then we did book the cheapest room ; a cosy double.

Breakfast fantastic, staff/owner fantastic with service, welcome and communication/accommodating our late check in. Lovely building and interior with cosy guest lounge too.

The rooms are lovely, tastefully decorated with nice little touches such as a coffee machine, a wide array of hot drinks, a little fridge with fresh milk and water. The beds are very comfy with clean, crisp bedding, the towels are fluffy and the shower was powerful with special shower heads to make the water soft. Breakfast both mornings was delicious, first class service from the hosts, made to feel very welcome. Great location to discover Windermere with a short walk down to Bowness.

couldn’t fault it

This is a gem of a place. it’s situated in a lovely quiet road but its central to everything. It’s beautifully decorated and has the bonus of a lovely lounge which residents can use - we met up here each night before dinner as we stayed with a small group of friends. The breakfast offered a wide choice of food which consisted of quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The hosts Steve and Hayley were exceptional.

Decor was a bit crazy in styles and the mirror in the bath room i could only see the top of my head in it, I'm 5ft2in also the kettle and cups were in the wardrobe on a tray on a high shelf if your small its a bit difficult to get down if your small. The bathroom door gets a bit stuck so when I went to the loo in the night I woke my partner up with the noise it makes trying to yank it open.

Good location, room was a good size, had things like a fridge and 2 comfy chairs, why some hotel's only put 1 chair when 2 people staying in don't get it ! Good selection of drinks on the tray , fresh milk in fridge and chilled water.

My mom and I stayed at Jerichos back in June for 3 days. We LOVED it!!! The room was so comfortable and cozy, the breakfast was divine, and the location was great. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. We felt right at home and would love to return someday. 100% recommend!

The room did get quite warm due to the age of the building, and while the scrambled eggs at breakfast weren’t to my taste, there was still more than enough food to enjoy.

The room was lovely and well-presented, and although the building is older, good tower fans were provided to keep it comfortable. Steve and Hayley were fantastic hosts and even arranged a late check-in for us, which was a big help. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious – the fresh fruit salad was a lovely start, my husband’s sausage sandwich featured excellent quality sausages, and the salmon I had was absolutely melt-in-the-mouth.

My brother and I loved everything. there were no issues whatsoever. Breakfast was on point, freshly made and tasty . The lady hosting was incredible and really lovely ♥️ I would recommend to stay in there to anyone coming into Windermere.
