I wanted to check out at 7am and was hoping for some sort of continental breakfast to be made available. Unfortunately all I was offered was three items of fruit, yoghurt and two slices of bread and butter. I appreciate that I had booked a normal breakfast and it was just a hope.

Very difficult to say anything negative but the Hotel is on the outskirts of Ilkley, a walk into the town, the bar is slightly on the upper price scale, but this strategy attracts the clientele it is targeting so neither of these points are really a negative

The rooms were very warm with no air conditioning. We had an evening meal - roast dinners - on our first day which was disappointing.

Breakfast was excellent which was served at the table rather than from a buffet bar which we all liked. The rooms were very clean with nice showers and lovely toiletries. All the staff were very friendly

The bathroom had the usual problem of not enough shelf space to put items on. The room was dimly lit, despite having all the lights on. The bathroom didn't have a working extractor fan. Beds don't need cushions on them! We just put them on the floor, reducing the floor space further. All in all though we had a lovely stay.

Good Breakfast, nice lady serving us, although the food was a touch slow to arrive, not that we were in a hurry. Fruit and yoghurt as an option would have been nice. Lovely evening meal. More veggie options would be good.

Didn't like seeing prices on the Inc menu for breakfast Wasn't really sure what was included.. only one fab lady serving breakfast and then asking for a cappuccino would then slow everything down for everyone else.. great if you're not in a hurry ..pillows too big and foamy.. prefer smaller and softer.. waterworks too audible from other rooms as people woke up , couldn't get back to sleep from 6ish am

Location good, large car park. clean , staff very helpful .looked to have a nice outdoor area with tables and chairs. Meal of fish and chips in the evening was lovely. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant area.

Staff were excellent, and so helpful in every way. They helped enormously when we were unexpectedly delayed for dinner. Dinner was delicious. Our room was beautiful, so comfortable.

Excellent room, well appointed - comfortable bed, very good tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom has a wonderful backlit mirror and really nice toiletries. Didn’t have breakfast as had to leave before 07.00.

Stunning property!.. Decor is a mix of old & modern with wonderful furniture throughout. Our room (2) was excellent. Everything thought of including robes and slippers. 5*. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice. Full English was one of the best I’ve had!.. 👌

Comfortable, clean, accommodation with en-suite and modern fittings in quiet location. On-site parking. Good breakfast , continental and cooked. Wish we had had more time as would have tried the evening menu. Lovely outdoor seating area too.
