We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe bed was really hard. I hardly slept. The breakfast on the Monday morning was appalling. The sausages weren’t cooked. The bacon had not been cooked in single rashers. They were lumped together and difficult to eat. The toast was barely cooked. The food on Saturday and Sunday was fine. Even the bread was good quality.
The staff were very helpful. The courtyard area was lovely, especially in the evenings.

United KingdomBooked a meal in restaurant. The starter took almost 40 minutes to arrive . When my main meal arrived it was a steak and ale pie with vegetables and gravy but no potatoes. When I questioned this with the waitress she initially doubted me but then took the plate back to the kitchen and after a couple of minutes came back with mashed potatoes added. Only 5 people in the restaurant. Gentlemen opposite said his food was undercooked and he could not eat it. Register these things with the waitress on leaving who apologised and gave me phone number to speak to senior management in the morning. I did not phone but was given complimentary drink in bar later.
The location was great. Parking free at rear of hotel. Fabulous breakfast. Peaceful. Excellent clean room with nice decor.
