United Kingdom. I read the reviews before and thought, no, it can't be that bad but sadly it was. Not going to rant just listening the problems: No hot water, there is a fire but no coal provided Property is 4 floors with extremely steep stairs, dangerous for children and my 76yo mother who came with Directions to the property way out! Parking is not even in the vicinity, and it's expensive Internet barely works Not my level of clean No freezer, fridge falling apart To be honest if I were booking.com.i would be embarrassed to list this. I have always used them but my trust has been broken 💔

The heating didnt work well at all and never any hot water ,not ,.ideal for couples of a certain age and bathroom on top floor and stairs are steep .Damp smell in kitchen even after disinfectant down drain ,Sofa so very uncomfortable weve both got bad backs now .ok for a couple of nights but a week or more would not suit I'm afraid .

And You need to be fit as stairs to kitchen then living room then bedrooms then bathroom at the top.could do with a lick off paint.in kitchen area.love the fire but you need to take coal and logs as not a lot for you.

United KingdomWhere to start....the property is dirty, in dire need of maintenance and decorating for a property that is let as a holiday home. We stayed in April, had plenty of rain and cold temperatures. The property heating system is run by the log burner/fire in the living room which requires coal or wood to heat the water and radiators. On arrival there was barely any fuel in the coal store, so we purchased some from the local shop. The following day, I rang the caretaker who said she would arrange for some more to be delivered. This never happened so we again had to purchase coal from the shop. There are 2 x small oil filled radiators in the property, which for a house on 4 floors is not adequate additional heating, especially during colder weather. The property is dirty, lots of cobwebs, poor general maintenance, microwave didn't work, broken glass cafetiere, rags stuffed in gaps in wall, daylight visible through the window frame in kitchen, broken bed frame in top bedroom. I have highlighted all of this to booking.com but had no resolution. Offer of £35 credit which just about covers the cost of fuel we had to buy. Would not stay again.
Location os good. Footpath to main carpark at back of house. Couple of minutes walk to beach.
