No ac and it was warm so this wasn’t great. Service at dinner was erratic, not well-paced. I think they were short of staff.

The bar service at the spa was far too slow and disorganised, not necessarily the staffs fault but there obviously wasn’t enough staff for the amount of people at the spa and in the bar area. A limit of two drinks when booking a spa weekend, where I understand the safety aspect, responsible adults should be able to purchase alcoholic drinks in moderation.

Great value with spa access included, clean room and facilities.

The beds were lumpy

Staff were very friendly, the breakfast choice and food was excellent, the food in the restaurant was amazing, absolutely delicious. The Spa facilities were excellent. The bedrooms were very spacious, great facilities.

Pillows are terrible and need replacing ... urgently. Carpets in the hotel need stains removed or replaced

We were in room 249 which was situated next to the main access door for the room corridor. Aside from thinking people were going to burst into the room it’s just too close to the access door and loud ! In addition being on the ground floor right next to the car park and a common walk through there is no possibility of privacy .. i like natural light and as we found everyone can see in all the time unless you shut the blinds and the curtains all day which is unacceptable .. a pane of reflective glass would solve this problem but I don’t think it’s even been considered .. nice stay, staff absolutely great but would ask for an upper floor room in future .. it’s unacceptable at the height of summer to keep all the blinds and curtains closed .. just not really well thought out for staying guests . The spa and spa staff incredibly helpful and all the staff couldn’t do enough to make the stay a pleasant one .. great place just need to consider the above as mentioned

The bar staff were rude and shouted at my husband because he was eating a packet of crisps outside. There is no outside shade area which was bad in the heatwave. There is a charge added onto your meal bill which we don't know about and there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

The room was spacious, the reception staff were lovely. Breakfast was really nice as were the staff in the breakfast room.

I didn't like that dinner was included in our room price. We were visiting with family so would rather have spent both evenings with them.

Everything was fine, we enjoyed your stay. It was over a weekend so very noisy in my room with late night revelers returning to their rooms.

The hotel hosts a lot of wedding parties and proms which can lead to rather rowdy and unpleasant guests staying in the rooms. This doesn’t make for the most relaxed atmosphere. We were also hoping for dinner in the normal restaurant, however, it was fully booked so we went to the “Tapas Bar and Grill” which is beside the spa facilities. The food there was of poor quality. Decor is rather old fashioned, but we weren’t so bothered about that.

The spa facilities are gorgeous. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Lovely location.

The only thing we found disappointing was the price of wine. I know there is always a big mark up in hotels/restaurants but my God!! Edging on the point of ridiculous.

The staff are absolutely amazing! So friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much. The spa is fantastic, the best we've been to by far. Our room was fab, huge bed and so much storage space.

No issue with the property, we just were assigned the room next to the entrance so could hear people coming in and out very frequently, no negative reflection on the hotel :)

The room was incredibly hot, but then so are most hotel bedrooms

Beautiful spot and the rooms were comfortable. Food and service in restaurant fantastic and the breakfast buffet was also excellent. All staff professional and friendly. A big shout out to Max our waiter in the evening. He was superb!

There was a bit of a wait when ordering drinks at the bar in the evening but due to the wait our first round was on the house!

When we arrived we had been given a complimentry upgrade to stay in the penthouse, this was a lovely gesture as we where celebrating my mums 70th birthday

We would have liked a walk in shower in the room.

Very good Hotel. Our room was on the top floor of the older part of the building. Very traditional decoration with a lovely big bath. We booked into the restaurant for evening meal which was in a lovely atmospheric part of the building. Staff were very friendly.
