Very pleasant and welcoming. Cosy and very comfortable .Breakfast top class and service from staff exceptional . Room very clean and my wife and I really enjoyed our overnight stay …Will recommend it . Only query I could not make sense of the television …controls were in another language . Still it did not spoil anything but just wanting to watch Breakfast TV on BBC orITV on Sunday morning was an impossibility for my wife and I .

Very characterful old property with tastefully decorated interiors and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast and a fine panelled room at the end where it was nice to sit and read at the end of an evening.

The location is very remote - we were there for a wedding so it didn't matter. The rooms are small and not very private (it is a super old pub) - can hear conversations from other guests in their rooms and hear them moving around. Bed is very old and squeaky.

Great breakfast in a smart coaching inn. Plenty of space to relax, read books, play chess, enjoy the gardens etc. Drive to Haye on Wye is about 15 mins so not bad.

I felt like the lady of the house with the treatment. The staff were amazing. The breakfast was first class. It was like you were transported back to the original beauty of the house. There were quiet places to sit and soak up the opulence of the old charm of the building. Or you could relax in your room in modern comforts.

Great Hotel in a good location for us. I got the last room available so ended up in the roof in a twin room with the bathroom across the hall. It was a pleasant room but let down by having to cross the landing to use the bathroom. However, the staff we met were lovely and the breakfast was superb.

The route around the hotel to the back entrance, which we were told to use late at night, could have been better lit.

Only 10 minutes from Hay Festival, on a main road but very quiet. Old attractive hotel, beautifully appointed inside. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and the staff were very friendly.

Not so much didn't like, more of a bit odd. Arrived Saturday afternoon, front door open, no staff about just 5 sets of keys and notes on the desk for each reservation, could've, [ but didn't] had a good wander through all the rooms

The pub opposite doesn't serve food on a Sunday evening, so you'd have to drive somewhere to eat.

It wasnt a dislike but the building is very old and sympathetically renovated do ceilings and beams are low, maybe a ‘dont bash your head’ sign.

Love this place, quirky, charming, well run, excellent breakfast and lovely staff plus sparkly clean. Will be going back next time that way!

The staff could not do enough for us and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The only small issue was that it was on occasion difficult to find a member of staff when we needed help.

The hotel itself is gorgeous, the beds were very comfortable and everything was so clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the fridge behind reception so I could access fresh milk for tea in my room!

We stayed on the top floor. Beams and door opening to room very low for a moderate height individual, due to nature of the building. Bathroom was separate from room across a landing. Not ideal if you need in the middle of the night, but beautifully presented.

We booked a different hotel prior to staying here for our anniversary and that hotel ended up being awful.we managed to book in super last minute at three cocks hotel and we cannot be more thankful it ended up being the most beautiful boutique little hotel that felt extremely warm & clean with the breakfast being amazing ! the lady who owned the hotel helped us with places to go to in hay on wye and our anniversary was great! We will definitely be back ❤️👏
