Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

They just need at least some matters toppers for the beds to protect you from the springs! Bit uncomfortable.
Was great for what we needed. Jesus was so lovely and helpful, and he clearly specialises in cooked breakfast.. the cafe was a little hive of community on Sunday morning!

Could have done with tea and coffee making provisions but apart from that nothing
Location was good for exploring Windsor and for getting into London as the station was a short walk away. The breakfast was very good and set us up for the day

If you are noise-sensitive, you might want to bring earplugs since it's close to the road and Heathrow airport ;-)
Recently renovated room with modern and comfortable bathroom, free parking in front of the house. Very friendly breakfast service in the cafe. Great location to explore Windsor Centre and visit the Castle!

My single bed in the twin room was a bit springy...but that's just my personal preference, as I prefer a firm mattress for a good night's sleep 🙏🏽

My only gripe was the mattress: lumpy with bed springs sticking into me. Very uncomfortable. Please buy a new mattress!
Generally very happy with the stay. The staff were lovely, the breakfast a first-rate greasy-spoon fry-up and the room clean and light with towels and wifi.

The room was very basic. There wasn’t a mirror near a plug socket so I could blow dry my hair. There was no cup in the bathroom to rinse my mouth out after brushing teeth. There were stains on one of the beds. The room in places, was dusty. There was only cooked breakfast available. My 6 year old asked for cereals, which weren’t available. It would have been nice if there were more breakfast options.
Excellent location. Walking distance from the centre of Windsor. Good that it included parking. The cooked breakfast was tasty and cooked well.

Bin collection at 0700 hrs on the Tuesday morning on the street.
Location was ideal for central Windsor and 20 minute walk from castle through town centre. Large car park so no problems parking. Breakfast and evening meal included in the price. (cafe menu) Beds were very comfortable.

Not very clean . Bathroom was modern but not very clean

The room could be a bit cleaner, no shower gel in the bathroom, so bring your own. Also, being top floor made it hot and stuffy but we couldn't keep the windows open at night because of the planes flying to and from Heathrow.
We only stayed for one night, good location for Legoland (5 minutes). The beds were pretty comfortable, breakfast was delicious and quick, the host nice and polite.

It wasn’t the room we had booked, but we were satisfied . Only disappointment being no tea/coffee making facilities or bathroom products. Obviously there were toilet rolls.

My cooked breakfast was good size. My daughter asked for a cheese sandwich and it was amazing. I got 2 cups of tea aswell.

Only downside was the noise from the people upstairs having a shower early this morning but next time will take earplugs.
From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Happy for us to park the car from 10 am on day of arrival and even have us the key as the room was ready, also free drink in cafe. The room was basic but clean, better than why we expected. The bathroom was immaculate, shower hot, plenty of clean towels and loved the anti mist thing on the mirror! Breakfast this morning was plentiful, hot and tasty. The tea was replenished and I had a can of Coke as my drink without paying extra (which is usually the case). The owner could not of been more helpful and we will be staying there again if in the area. It was only a 10 min walk from city centre which was fine.
